Don't shade with black! Use a neon darkish blue thing lol and lower the opacity to your liking :3 (unless you need to shade with black owo) Don't add random highlights! Add where you think it'll go but just don't make random marks like jsjeksjekwkaokwnwiwjhsjsnekeisne mk QwQ And last look at references and others art and try to do what they do and then you'll drift off to find your own style! Thats how I've improved and still improving
