Shavender walked along the beach his crew being dumb he scoffed and rolled his eyes
Rairiko poked her head out of the water, hearing the sounds of people made her curious. she was careful and stayed her distance.
He kicked at the sand taking off his hood reavling his water hair and fish ears once the crew members were out of site ofc
she looked at him and cooed to herself then dipped under the water to swim closer.
He stood there and opened a map remembering that this was were his father had died and cried a little
her tail splashed in the water once she was close enough to touch the sand near the beach he raised her head and looked at him. studying him.
He had a coral looking sword and he looked at the map not noticing her
he cooed and chirped at him, tilting her head. she was trying to figure out what he was and why he was here..on land. he was clearly part of the ocean.
she slapped her tail on the ground, trying to get his attention.
He jumped pulling out his sword and pointing it at her his eyepatch eye had a blue pupil and a black scalra
she righted her head and cooed at him. she wanted to get closer but then she'd be out of the water.
He noticed that she wasn't a sea monster and just slowly put the sword away curious
but she is- thats what a siren is-//
she sat properly and stared then looked off toward where she saw the crew then back at him and blinked.
(Not like the ones he sees everyday)
The crew members were playing chess or doing random things not paying attention
He stared at them "what?"
she needs and update, trust me shes not that pretty.//
She looked over at them again and made a calling sound. its almost like shes trying to get him in trouble.
He shushed her and quickly put his hood and eye patch back on as one of his crew mates came over
"What was that?"she asked confused
Rairiko made the sound again, though this time quieter.
She was actually just greeting him and the crew. She assumed they were of no threat and was happy to say hello.
The girl didn't notice her "uh ok uh the boys are getting ready to pack up! Don't be slow"
He chuckled "I won't"
She raced off
she huffed and looked at him then cooed again, turning around and swimming off.
She swam down catching some fish. She was hungry and didn't feel like human flesh.
She swam up near it, she really was just curious about them all..especially him.
She thought he was like her, and it made her excited.
He eventually let someone else take over and leaned on the raling of the ship starring into the water
She poked her head up from the water and looked up at him and chirped loudly before speaking.
"Hi!" She raised her hand and waved, mimicking something she saw once.
He jumped looking to the sides "what are you doing here!"he whispered yelled
She tilted her head and cupped a hand to her ear, letting him know she didn't hear him.
He scowled and looked around he spotted a dock and gestured to the steerer to stop there because it was getting dark when they stopped and everyone left for the inn he raced to the beach and fearfully looked at the sunset
He stopped by the beach quickly taking off his coat cause he didn't want it to rip and watched the sunset when the moon finally shined his eyes were now both the same black and blue pupil he got more scales down his arms and a tail with the fin part being made of water his hands turned into claws which were covered in blue scales his hair turned fully to water and small but sharp spikes on his back tore his clothes a little he opened his eyes and just kinda looked at himself
She stared at him from the shallow water and chirped at him then repeated herself.
"hi?"
She didn't save this time
He blinked
"There guessing this is what you wanted?"he sounded annoyed
He nodded and crouched down his tail moving side to side
"Yeah pretty obvious"
She blinked then turned and swam off, splashing him with some of water. She came back a bit later and crawled up beckoning him closer.
He groaned looking around before taking shoes off so he could swim better really was a fish man cause webbing he steps into water until he can't stand and kinda freaks out a little
She tilted her head then swam up to the beach, grabbing him and pulling him along. She could see how uncomfortable he was.
He followed and just kinda glanced around like he was expecting something to pop up and hurt them
She stared at him then started dry heaving. Eventually she puked a half eaten fish (bones and all). She stared at it for a moment then looked up at him.
She smiled and cooed then she looks out at the sea and swam away.
She looked back at him then swam down, towards an old ship wreck.
she looked at him again.
"oh?" she swam into the ship and around.
"i sank this one." she said absentmindedly and swam to the captains quarters.
"i didn't see anyone that looked like you."
Well he was a lot younger and I don't think I was even born yet he looked around and swam there too picking up a necklace and looking at it
she glanced at him then sat in a old chair and checked out a few things on a desk.
There was a picture of a younger man and a woman that looked a lot like she would be shavenders mother
"makes sense." She swam away from him and over to the other side of the room.
She looked around in an old closet. She grabbed a button from a coat and pulled it off.
She looked back at him. "don't you have a ship to captain? " she was clearly confused.
He quickly swam off and onto the surface putting his stuff back on and sneaking to his ship cause it's still night
When morning came she swam up to the beach and pulled herself into the sand.
After a bit her tail split and turned into legs. Her cheeks covered her teeth and her ears looked human.
She still had sparkling scales, gills and webs between her fingers.
He was sitting at the end of a doc his legs hanging off stareing into the water
she looked off to the side and at him. she walked a bit further onto the land she had a clothes trunk hidden.
she came back a bit later, now wearing a jacket to cover her body. she looked at him and walked over.
"do you not swim in there much?"
"There are sea monsters out there they kill people it's my job and my misson to protect the people and Avenge my father.."
"it's not your job."
She hissed, like she was offended.
"you're just doing it for some silly sense of accomplishment, your traitor to your own kind." She growled and walked away.
uhmm nope... im fine with anything ya choose!
