Just reread the series (it's one of my favourite book series ever) and I just thought to draw this! The sword reflects the user's self, so when Kendra holds it it glows "blindingly white" and when Seth holds it, it glows scarlet

Very good! Tbh I think it's INTENDED for people younger than me, but so are a lot of really good series so I don't care It's one of my favourite fantasy series ever

i’m re-reading the books right now! i’m on the last book in the first series. Spoiler alert 🚨 i was so mad when gavin turned out to be a traitor but it was a pretty perfect plot twist — i never could have seen it coming
