I AIN'T DIEING TODAAAAAYYYYYYYY

As night came, it seemed to be oddly cold. the puppies whined, shivering and whimpering as they desperately snuggled into her fur. "I'm so very sorry little ones..... here..." she picked up one by the scruff and laid it in between her front legs, she gently pushed another into her leg and wrapped her tail tightly around herself, Snowball had left her to rest a long while ago. She couldn't handle the cold that the pups were going through, she was a cat and these were puppies, puppies were a bit bigger and it was harder to warm them up. She mewed loud enough, a call for Snowball. Snowball had a little trouble sleeping, he kept thinking about Crystal, the puppies..... Jones, he hated him..he would never let Jones hurt her ever again, nor the pups. Just then he heard a familiar soft call, it was Crystal, she was calling for him. he snuck out of the pig shack and headed to the small coop she was in. He found her shivering along with the puppies. she-cat shiver as the pups were close to her. "I'm so sorry for waking you... i-it's just so cold I-I...." She looked away with guilt of waking him. Snowball went over to her and laid on the opposite side of the pups, he nuzzled each of them to his belly. he curled himself around the babies and his love. "It's alright my love, funny thing is.. I was worrying about you.... I feel.. like. I have to protect you... I love you.." Crystal nuzzled his muzzle, he nuzzled back. "you rest now sweety.. I may be up a little longer..." "okay.....I love you.." he nuzzled her as she relaxed."I love you too..."

morning came and Crystal awoke, seeing the puppies, and Snowball sleeping. They all looked so peaceful, she longed to have babies of her own, but she wished that it be THEIR babies. but she knew the faults, and so she loves Snowball despite not being able to give him the gift of children... It felt warmer as dawn started to come, she quietly stood up and sat at the entrance,of the coop, after a small while, she softly hummed while looking at the sky, thinking of Jessie and Old Major. Snowball awoke from her loving hum and he listened to her, her soothing voice relaxed him.

Snowball carefully got up, not waking the puppies and quietly made his way to her side. He sat beside her just as she finished. "I-I'm sorry...did I wake you?" she asked, looking up at him. "N-no love you're okay, I found your melody soothing..." She purred and pressed against him, nuzzling him. He did the same and cuddled her. She felt something and looked to see one of the pups. "Kitty I hungry....." he whined, the other pups whimpered hungry. "I will find them something... you stay here, with the pups." He left the coop and after a little bit, he came back with cat food, she didn't mind, she let the puppies eat first, then she did. Snowball looked sadly. "You would be a wonderful mother...." he looked away. Crystal nuzzled into his chest. 'S-Snowball..... I know... I wish we could have a family of our own..but this could be our chance!.... I love you and only you Snow........" He smiled and nuzzled her.
