OH context to some of the themes btw halo is supposed to resemble that of saints in traditional slavic religious art (idk if it's in any other religions). it's representative of how i want to see myself as a good person despite my fears that i'm a bad one. it also represents my disconnect with reality due to mental illness, especially my derealization & depersonalization; much like how i am logically aware the saints are real and lived on the same planet as we do, i can't emotionally comprehend it or see them that way, in the same sense of how sometimes me, my surroundings, or other people don't seem real to me. the religous iconery is from russian orthodox bec im slavic and i love my culture the cross is the russian orthodox cross, simplified a wee bit bg is a prayer known as "otche nash" <3
