well the story starts at the beginning of the world, i wouldn't say she... 'birthed' children but she has the power to create the body and give it a soul so. she created a few humans and they had theirs and yea. Since her death, she gave one child so far since there has been only One Ruling Goddess at that time. Then in chapter two of the story, Anther child ^^
People can still go through pregnancy and birth, just the women who becomes a goddess, can still birth, just since there are no 'gods' or like kings, they ask for a child from Maria and maria can only give one

yes she is dead, just not her power. Her killer didn't fully limit her power.
(irl): When you die, you still have your soul, it just moved to another body and your new life starts

i mean in Artea, even goddesses can die, but noones power can die either. we are energy so i put that into my stories. they are energy, they have power, we are just in a vessel. So idk for the Goddesses, they can die, just would still have their power, but can be limited (by lore)
