and how do you get the shading to blend so well???

- oppacity!!!
- do a ton of testing out
- i do a overlay over everything. you take the marker tool (the one that only draws on the bits that have been drawn on) you know that tool? im not sure what its called ;w; you copy and paste a layer of the main subject and you make a gradient. then you half erase it (use opacity!!) and adjust to your liking!

i use opacity and different colors to shade, i like to use either warm or cold colors. i dont use just a darker shade of the oc color, i take a dullish dark pinky red, make it 50% opacity and go ham
