nel my boy i love you. big fat genetically modified lizard

his only modifications were to make him huge!!! but he was originally going to be experimented on and changed further before hatching but that didnt happen. not to him at least.

the biggening was a success the scientists didnt get to see, but they needed larger specimens to experiment on, too small and it just kills them or its more likely to heavily deform them with what they were testing
