LinkPleade no joke answers I am looking for actual reasons so I can try to understand why its so hated.

LinkI personally dont like Vivzie very much as a person but I am a huge fan of her work and she actually inspired me to get back into developing my characters and creating new ones and creating stories for them.
the concept of hazbin is a genuinely interesting one but theres a lot of problematic content, both obvious (angeldust's overly sexual behavior and sexual harassment of husk) and vague (misuse of voodoo symbols throughout the show for 'aesthetic') and vivziepop being an overall shitty person
i dont really think that is his entire character, he is pne of the most developed characters in the show and doing innapropriate work as s job is a large factor of his backstory which leads into his behavior of always trying to flirt with husk
and if you have watched the show it says that this isnt even what angel wants to be and its what "he needs to be" because of his past with valentino snd the sad reality of his fame

I kinda just like the show but from what I’ve heard I acknowledge that Vivziepop may be a bad person but I can like the show and not the creator, right?
idk i watched the pilot one day and couldn't stand it for some reason and now that its actually out 99% of the fans are so irritating plus almost all the characters are hideous. only the black snake guy or whatever looks alright
I like the pilot much more than the full legnth show. His name is sir pentious and he is cool, have you seen his angel design
It’s just hard to watch genuinely.
The unnecessary cussing and vulgarness of it kills the mood. It’s very unbalanced in the writing too, it’s like the characters don’t actually care about anything in the show so the emotions emitted from them is underwhelming not to mention the immense second hand embarrassment from the show alone makes it difficult to enjoy
I definitely understand that about the swearing, its a lot. I dont understand the second hand embarrassment but thats ok. I agree that the character need to show more emotion and make it more pronounced if thatbis what you mean
Yeah, the focus of the show is supposed to be vaggie and charlie being together, while in helluva boss it focuses of gay relationships. Instead the fandom loves huskerdust and i dont blame them since they have so much more story and chaggir has hardly anything besides "i picked up vaggie from the side of the street because her eye was missing and i helped to get back to health" and then theres just nothing

Vivziepop letting her storyboarder with a rape kink work on the choreography for the character with sexual trauma and enduring sexual abuse IN THE SHOW and do the storyboarding for it as well
And defending the storyboarder too? Theres rumors viv also has one but i dont know about that but the storyboarder sexually harassed a 15 year old for saying their rape kink was bad and the storyboarder has made it clear theyre not a victim either So .. ? Angels representation is terrible and stereotypical "Hypersexual who only talks about having sex" The scenes of him literally getting sa'd were unnecessary i see a lot of people say that the scenes were fine because hes a pornstar and hes performing so thats why its on the screens but some of the scenes werent even on the screens behind him it just started playing … Also viv talking about how the show has a female lead and all that shit and how diverse it is but its circled around angel dust or other twink male characters in it .. The design for st peter is just WOW (negative) and vivziepop randomly stating alastor was black just so she could keep the whole voodoo thing for him after being told it was a closed practice
my OPINIONS .. The pacing is garbage too much happened in so little time and there was little introduction to the characters .. The whooe swearing all the time thing i know everyone talks about it but holy shit man why is it so often and every singke time anyone opens their mouth .? Its all just like The characters trying to **** eachother or trying ti beat eachothers asses And it gets old after a while i know its supposed to be hell but im sure not every single person dying and going to hell has to say **** in every sentence? The designs are BOORING They all wear suits and have tophats or bowties and its soo yawwnnnn
i dont have anything specific to say abt it since i dont go that deep into shit, i watched it it kinda made me cringe a little, the songs are good some of them?? i like the fanart more especially the redesigns and comics ive seen from some people, there are rlly weird fans but i havent seen that many of them personally or at least gone looking for them. i dont know exactly what vivziepop did other than supporting a disgusting person who worked on the show with her since i didnt look into it but she could fs do better.
