Stingfoot snapped his head back to look at the ex-kittypet, “And why?” “Because I said so.” Hivestar said with authority, as she loomed over Stingfoot. “O-oh sure…” His pelt calmed down, “You can bring anyone but Stormpelt and Sandfur.” Sleekshine nodded. “Ok. I’ll take Bumblefern and Mushroomeye.” Stingfoot nodded, “Right. Mushroomeye is sleeping and Bumblefern is talking to Beedew, instead of ACTUALLY MAKING THEIR APPRENTICE LEARN!” “You suck.” Badgerpaw mewed, grooming himself. She gave a warning glare to Badgerpaw. Badgerpaw innocently looked back and mewed like a small kit, “What? I ain’t did anything.”

She growled and went off to find the other warriors. Bumblefern was chattering with his younger sister, sharing a thrush. Mushroomeye was to the side and simply bathed in the rising dawn's light. “Bumblefern, Mushroomeye, I need your help to take Sunset to where he needs to be.” Sleekshine said, padding over to them. “Alright…” Bumblefern stood up, “Like. Right now?” She nodded. “Yes, the sooner, the better.” Beedew stood up, “Is this a long trip?” She began to sort herbs. “Umm.. I’m not sure, but herbs wouldn’t be a bad idea.” Beedew got them herbs swiftly, “Here.” Sunset and Sleekshine reluctantly ate the herbs. Bumblefern ate the herbs, “Okay, good.”

“Now. Get off you two. Bring some herbs back too!” Sunset nodded. As they walked out of camp, Sleekshine began trying to find the corgi’s sent trail. “Wherever they were going, that’s where we need to go.” Bumblefern looked down at the tracks, “Sunset lives with dogs?” He asked out loud. “No, but where the dog lives is near where Sunset needs to be.” She didn’t look up at him. Sleekshine then perked her ears when she smelled something new. It smelled like cats, but she couldn’t put her paw on who. Bumblefern noticed too, and followed the trail, “Oh no… This doesn't smell like Meadowclan… Or any clan!” Sunset folded his ears back. “Who are those cats?” He asked, pointing his tail over to five cat shadows. Bumblefern opened his mouth but was only able to yowl as someone began to rush to him. Darkthorn held down Mushroomeye. Twig was close behind him, holding down Sleekshine, his claws edging into her throat.

Another yowl raised out as Bumblefern attempted to run away from the batte, but was caught by Ace. “New prisoners!” He cackled. Infront of Ace was Bumblefern’s vulnerable underbelly, and he smirked as Bumblefern winced under him. “Who are you?!” Dove spoke. “That is none of your business! But now we will take you as our prisoners! And if you refuse...” She put out her claws and brushed them across her throat. Bumblefern hissed and quickly kicked Ace off, who promptly took Doves word. In a matter of seconds, Bumblefern was on the ground bleeding from quick slashes. Ace sneaked up towards Sleekshine and bit her neck, but not hard enough to snap. Just to show authority. “You’re turn, slimeball.” He hissed into her ear.

Sleekshine folded her ears back and hit his face with her paw. With amusement, he looked back at the pretty she-cat, Dove, who was holding down Mushroomeye, “Get a look at this cat.” Dove padded over. “Ha! She doesn’t even have front claws!” Mushroomeye was held down by Milk. Ace began to drag Sleekshine, “Ice is going to be so happy!” He hummed and laughed. The other cats started dragging the other cats to the Rogueclan camp. Bumblefern let out a yowl, it was so loud it could’ve been mistaken for a wolves howl. He tried to batter Darkthorn. Darkthorn caught his ear with a claw and ripped it. “Shut your jaw before something bad happens to you.” Bumblefern shut up. Inside the heart of the clan, Bearflinch was chattering to Goldenbreeze. “So what’s it like being a deputy?” The golden she-cat asked.

“A bit of trouble, it’s scary a tad.” She timidly ate at the skin of her mouse, “But I enjoy that Ice trusts me that much,” She added hastily. She cocked her head. “I thought Ice trusted everybody?” “Oh, he does… I just… I don’t know why he chose me.” She sighed, “Maybe it’s because I’m big.” She shrugged. “I guess.” She took a bite of a rabbit. Bearflinch simply nodded, “Ye-- Hey. Dove’s patrol sounds LOUDER than usual.” She twitched her ear, straining to hear them. She perked her ears and turned that way. Bearflinch dropped her food, and swiftly went towards Darkthorn’s patrol. Her eyes widened at the prisionoors, “What’s this?” Dove spoke. “We found these Clan cats wandering around. This one,” she flicked her tail towards Sleekshine, “doesn’t even have claws, and this one,” she then turned to Sunset, “Is small and skinny. Very disappointing for Clan cats.” “Tsk, tsk, I don’t see why a clan would like them...:” She sniffed at the clawless cat, “I’ll get Ice.”

Goldenbreeze nodded. “You do that.” Sleekshine growled deeply. “Ice!” Bearflinch called out, walking into his den. He looked up. “Yes?” “We have more mouths to feed. Your father's patrol caught us more prinsoors.” Ice smiled evilly. “Good. Let me see them.” He got up and walked out.” Bearflinch leaded her commander to the new cats. Bramblefern was out cold. He held up his tail happily. “What do we have today?” He looked down at them. “A few leafclan cats that's weak.” Ace chuckled, “One cat doesn't even have front claws!” His tail tip twitched. “Really? Show me.” He padded over to where they were holding down Sleekshine. Go - bre Ace pressed harshly down on Sleekshines paw, “See?” He laughed sinisterly. “Well, at least we won’t have to worry about her attacking too bad. What next?” “Can we afford feeding all these mouths?” Bearflinch asked asbently, “Or do we just kill ‘em?” “No, no, they’re pretty scrawny.” He gazed over all of the Leafclan cats. “But we could use them for something.”
