Yep here let me start.
So I just joined flipanim 5hours ago and I already understand it.The drama about tracers and bace users annoys me
Oh yeah, I think that base users are fine. They're merely learning. Tracing can be okay as long as the base of the character/scene is credited and not claimed. Especially if the character you're tracing is the exact same, colors and all.
No I mean there was a few people I saw who stole files from private anime and used a base for their own art and adoptable without giving credit
That's not okay. Of course, adoptables can sometimes not be credited but private anim files from other users aren't okay if the original user didn't allow it
Example:Hg's animation of her of flying into the clouds that was featured was traced by someone (not naming who)that took it from a private anim.like BRO they did not want you to have the file even the person themselves said"HOW DID YOU GET THAT FILE"also the ones who keep using the same traced base its really annoying to see that
It is. I see where you're coming from, and sadly there's a lot more potentially more upsetting drama other than tracers
