LinkYou- your oc had gotten an invite to a masquerade ball from the royal elves cause how fun. Upon arrival, everyone was masked with embroidered masks that shone, their upper halves of their faces covered. Near the throne stood four figures with masculine features, one of them who was 6’3 with long hair, but his jaw was sharp, a scar on the left side of his face. He noticed your oc and just nodded. The hall was crowded. But the four didn’t move, standing there stiffly

LinkThey stood there for a while, just watching the dance. A guard walked up to the shortest, 4’3, and offered to dance. He took his hands and the pair headed to the dance floor. Wwyd

A guard- well, they looked like a guard or a servant walked up to him. “Would you like anything to drink, sir?” They asked, Bowing
“Is there anything in particular that you’d like?” They asked him calmly, fiddling with their hands. The looked over at the four just standing there- now three. “Oh- one person already asked the short one out” amused.
They nodded, walking off. They came back with a random fancy drink that was dark pink and bubbly, the bottom layer a creamy white.
They smiled. “It’s a traditional drink here. “ they yawned a little.

They shrugged. “More or less. Us guards aren’t allowed to communicate with the princes so that’s annoying. “
“ they’re supposed to interact with the crowd here- get themselves out there. One of the points of this party is to marry them off. So, us guards have to let them do that. They stand in a line all clumped together, that’s not going to do anything . The king and queen are not going to be happy“ they sighed, running their hand through their hair
They nodded, quiet, staring at one of the princes the one with long hair.
He groaned. “Not too well. I have a really bad headache and I want to go to bed. I don’t do well in crowds. “ he sighed
(She’s wearing something nicer than her current outfit)
She stood around glancing at the group anxiously and fiddled with her cape that was covering her blade
The 6’3 boy with long hair waved faintly at her. A guard was taking drink orders nearby
The guard was walked up to her. “Hello ma’am What would you like to drink?”
She thought for a moment
“Surprise me”she said excited to see what they’d give her
They nodded then walked off, then came back with a class of a pink sparkly drink. The bottom was creamy and strange
“Oooo”she exclaimed excited to try it and picked up the drink and took a sip
It burst with flavor. Not too sweet but it was a bit like pop rocks. It tasted like a combo of strawberries, mangos and starfruit- and cookies.
“Oh my” she exclaimed she paused to take a sip once more “this is probably the best drink I’ve ever had”she said excited
She smiled back she turned and started walking she wasn’t sure where she was going but she hoped to find a garden
There was a huge garden- roses and anemones growing everywhere, along with morning glories hugging the pillars. The prince who waved at her was sitting on a bench, alone
She walked into the garden amazed by the beauty of all the plants not noticing the prince
He was silent. A small little blue cat- like creature watered the plants
She took as sip of her drink and wondered around the garden “I’ve never seen such beauty” she whispered to herself
The cat made the sound of a hawk, running off. The prince jumped, leaping to his feet
She saw the movement of the prince and covered her mouth noticing that she wasn’t alone
He covered the scared side of his face with his hair self consciously. “O- oh”

A guard walked up to her. “Welcome!” They cooed. “Is there anything I can get you to drink?”

They came back with a pink drink with a creamy white bottom
There were seats at tall tables, the room crowded. The group standing in front scattered, wandering around
Almond: *sat down in one of the chairs and took another sip of her drink*
almond: *her head perked up and she looked at him* uhm... h-hello ^^'

almond: i-...don't know.... but i kinda hope it's soon.... i have a pet to feed
Almond: *took another sip of the drink then finished it off a little bit after* ^^
almond: *looked at him again* why'd you sit next to me? *tilted her head slightly*

almond: *got really curious all of a sudden and looked at void* why are you here?

almond: *looked at his hair and started to brush it with her fingers to see if that would help calm him a bit*
almond: *brushes out the braids with her fingers and continues to brush out his hair, calm*
