Part one :Her destiny was to be the next host for the moons blade (sword shown) her parents weren’t fond of her destiny to be the next lunar warrior so they kept her inside until the age of twelve she managed to get through a window that had been left open and snuck out later on she got lost and soon was discovered by a nice older woman who took her to her cottage in the woods

Part two : at the age of sixteen blair was wondering the woods and came upon the moons blade not knowing blairs destiny was in twined with that blade so Blair picked it up and brought it back to the cottage where the old woman was waiting on the porch was surprised to say the least at the sight of the moons blade she was shocked that the blade had chosen Blair to be it’s host and knew that blairs destiny was in twined with that blade and knew that it was time for Blair to leave home to find out her true destiny
