OK FIRST OF ALL i recommend color variety! i see that you tend to go for more grey-ish versions of the main color, but it works only in cerrtain situation. try to play with the hue and saturation! another thing that seems to work well for me is estabilishing a clear light source. it helps figure out where the shadows should be located.
