Xavier woke up in a cell with a start, his mind was fuzzy, empty even. He looked around the room confused, he cant remember how he got in here, or even where he was. The last thing he can remember is a mask, and then nothing. He got up out of the cot he was in and looked around the cell. It was clean, and it smelled like bleach. As he was looking around the room the door opened and a masked man was standing there. “Come with me,” the man said, sounding like he wouldn’t like to be kept waiting. “Who are you? Where am I?” Xavier asked, confused about this whole scenario. “Just come with me and you’ll see shortly.” The man replied calmly. Xavier, having no other ideas goes with the man, who leads him out of the cell and into an empty room with a chair. “Sit down,” the man told him. Xavier, more or less not having any ideas, sat down in the chair, but before he could react the man strapped Xavier down.

. “This might sting a little.” The scientist said as he grabbed a syringe from the nearby table sticking it into his neck and injecting Xavier with the substance. “What did you do to me?!” Xavier screamed. The scientist just watched and waited. Several minutes passed and nothing. The scientist left the room and came back with a contraption, “Maybe a catalyst is needed.” The man then turned on the contraption, flames bursting out of the front of it. Xavier’s eyes went wide as he yelled, “The hell is wrong with you?! Let me go!” The man ignored him as he moved the contraption close, the flames licking at Xavier’s face. The contraption kept getting closer, starting to actually burn Xavier’s face, making him scream out loudly. The man kept the machine moving, burning more of Xavier’s face before he saw the substance finally do it work, making four tentacles sprout from Xavier’s back. The tentacles instantly moved and blocked the flames, and shortly after the scientist shut the machine and smiled.

“Finally, it worked.” The scientist said with a grin as Xavier passed out from the pain.
