When you do the two colors thing, like with the red/pink animal and the purple part of the white character, use the highlighter, and for the red/pink character, use pink first, then fill it in, then fill the rest in with red, for white it's a bit different, although it may look better if you do the other color first rather than white, because white with the highlighter, doesnt do anything, you can put any color over white with the highlighter, and this is so you dont have some colors going over your lineart :)

another way to stop line spillage is to duplicate the lineart layer before you color it in then do the coloring and patterning on the lineart layer below the duplicated one~
