LinkThe fear of performing on stage or public speaking is called glossophobia. About 6% of the population in the US has this phobia. People with this phobia tend to freeze and sweat as they face the audience. They go blank and experience palpitations, accompanied by shaking and quivering voice, when on stage. This impacts one’s professional life, as speaking up is one of the most common business traits.
