The Tale About The Tale That’s About The Tale About A Tale It all started on a night, the sky is black, everyone is… still awake? Even though it’s midnight, everyone is telling stories about their past. Although everyone was too tired to understand the story they just told, they did it anyway. But, that’s not the point. The point is going to be on this man named Andrew, who lives on 292 Birch Hill Ave. He told the story of a story...about a story.

Well, first off, Andrew gathered his family. He started off by saying “It was a cloudy, moody morning. The sun wasn't shining, the birds were half dead, and the dog was barking at the top of its lungs.” He repositioned himself so he could hear the wolves outside howl. “...Try to ignore that, listen to me. There were these two guys, trying to make the dog stop barking. Their names were Guy Peterson and Edward Johnson. They were good friends. Also, roommates against their will.”

“This dog is being such an annoyance, why don’t we just get rid of it?” Guy said, covering the dog’s mouth. “Because it’s not our dog. I would like to remove it as well.” Edward said, trying to get the dog to stay still. “Why don’t we? Just give it to our neighbour. It’s our neighbour’s problem now.” “You’re not wrong there…” Guy picked up the dog, and threw it out the door. “There, it’s the hallway’s problem now.” “The hallway isn’t our neighbour.” “Who cares. That thing is annoying.”

“Mhm… Did you hear something?” “No. Are you okay, Ed? This room is quiet.” “It sounds like… wolves… howling.” “...I swear, this isn't part of the tale. These dang wolves are interfering.” Andrew got up to close any window that was open. “So, anyway…” “Mhm… Did you hear something?” “No. Are you okay, Ed? This room is quiet.” “I hear something…” Guy went over to the window to check if something was outside. “There’s nothing out here. Your ears might be broken.”

“No, it sounds like someone is annoy-” “Alright, who put that dog outside!” Their neighbour came bursting in. “Oh.” Guy closed the window blinds, and looked over to the neighbour. ‘Who did it! Tell me who did it!” “Quiet down. You’re gonna start a noise complaint.” Edward said. “You already started one! Take your dog back and keep it!”

“It’s not our dog.” “Why is it in your house, then!” “Because we’re forced to take care of it against our will. This dog is the most annoying thing I’ve ever heard. In basically forever.” “Take the dog!” The neighbour dropped the dog on the floor, and the dog was wildly panting. He left the room quickly. “That’s it,” Guy picked up the dog “I’m putting this outside of the apartment building.”

He zoomed out of the door, and walked himself to the elevator. There were 10 people inside of the elevator once it opened after 14 minutes. “Nice dog you have there.” Said some random person in the elevator. “Thanks, but it’s not mine…” The elevator randomly stopped. It broke. “That’s strange. It’s not opening.” Said the same person. “I’m pretty sure it broke.” Said another random person. “You’re kidding, right?” Guy said “You have to be kidding. There’s no way this got stuck.” “Nope, I’m not kidding. It’s broken.”

“Nope, not going to spend 3 hours with complete strangers.” He tried to open the doors, but they were stuck. “I just want to bring this dog outside. Nothing else.” “Oh, that’s easy.” Another random person came out of the crowd of 9 people. “Just…” They stretched open the door “Drop it down there.”
