*one early evening Animator arrived rather late to a party, being late wasn’t something they usually did but they really weren’t looking forward to meeting criminals I mean they were only there for the food really. After being checked by the tight security they went in while looking around curiously, they wore an old red bandana over their eyes and a black fur coat hung off their shoulders while wearing a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Their clothes were wrinkled showing that they didn’t try too much to look presentable, the first thing they did was try to find the food*
Standing beside a table was Kai, talking to a few other men in hushed, low voices. He had a glass of water in his paw and nodded at the men, shaking one of their hands. "wonderful. Its a deal then, she'll be gone by morning." He huffed softly and turned away from them, raking a small sop of his water.
Animator: *they moved pass a few people with a defeated huff, they were really thinking about leaving now since they haven’t located where the food was. As they sauntered around a bit more they noticed Dakarai then averted their eyes a bit, last time they met they weren’t on the best of terms. They headed towards Kai thinking- what was the worse that could happen?*
HR gave the guys a slight grin and walked, before person around, scanning the people there. He grumbled softly and knit his brows, thinking about the police possibly showing up. He rolled his eyes and pushed the thought out of mind, reminding himself they wouldn't dare take all of them at once. He adjusted his tie and wore a sharp black tux and a black undershirt, hos red tie popped out against the dark colors.
Animator: hey Dakarai. *their voice spoke from next to him as they peered at him with interest, though they were wearing the bandana Animator could still mostly see out of it nonetheless. Their hat wasn’t on this time around*
Animator: mmh. I’m all fine and dandy on this end. *they stuffed their hands into their pockets with a small smile* What about you?
Animator: the invitation I got was a bit- last minute. They know my name but nobody knows my face so yeah. *they shrugged halfheartedly* in summary I got the invitation too late for- reasons and I didn’t bother to iron my clothes. *they were silent for a moment then huffed* do I really look that bad? *guess they did care about their appearance somewhat*
Animator: you sure know how to rip off a bandaid don’t you Kai? *they slightly chuckled, running a hand through their hair* Luckily nobody even knows who I am in this place.
Animator: I- suppose to a certain degree- *they raised a brow* why do you ask?
Animator: Private meeting at her house? *they felt something in their stomach as they repeated his words, hm, Maybe their stomach being empty was the cause of it..yeah that. They thought for a moment before continuing* what’ll the topic you’re planning on discussing with her?
Animator: right, my apologies. Guess I should tell her you’re coming over then. When are you going for the meeting? as her ‘partner’ I should at least know that much. *they Shrugged*
Animator: ohoho alright, Guess I’ll get you that address then. *they weren’t sure if he was planning something or it was just the way he worded things, of course being the curious bastard that they were, they’re going to watch without a doubt. and who would be a boss without their bodyguard.. Animator grabbed a napkin from the table that Kai was leaning on and took out a pen, writing the address before giving it to him* there it is. My apologies I don’t have paper on me.
Animator: anytime. *they let out a rather long sigh as they crossed their arms* say..have you had anything to eat yet?
Animator: *they hesitated for a moment before following and noticing the few people staring at them for their different choice of clothing, they only stared back as they walked for a hot minute before turning back for Dakarai*
Animator: so there it was this whole time. *they got closer to the table grabbed a plate with a grin, before getting food they turned back to him with a rather- childish smile* thanks..! I thought I’d disintegrate-
Animator: *they happily got themself something to eat then turned back to kai* you gonna get anything? *they were oblivious to anything, they honestly thought Kai was going to kill them for what happened before but he’s been nothing but nice so far, well apart from his comment about their clothes*
Animator: *they whispered a few words before they happily began eating*
Animator: *they raised a brow, looking in the direction of the commotion and the rushing individuals. They took another bite of their meal before looking over at Dakarai with a look of confusion* huh..what’s going on over there?
Animator: *their eyes widened, quickly pausing in shock. In all honesty they didn’t expect the police to actually come here with multiple criminals around, skilled ones at that. Their eyes looked between the two exits that had the law enforcement pouring in, guess they should’ve known better than to try and socialize with a bunch of criminals*
Animator: *they stiffened up when they heard William, Animator hesitantly put down their plate then looked over at Kai after almost letting his slip their mind. They raised a brow, surprised to see him trying to get away* ..and where do you think you’re going?
Animator: *they let out a soft snort, leaning against the table. Like hell they’d be with some criminals against a wall even if they were somewhat one themself* guess you’re goin down with the rest of us-
Kai sneered gently and shook his head, taking a step back from her. He hesitated before cocking the gun in his hand and he held it to her head. "" n-no- I'm not."
The woman raised a brow and gave him a growl, slapping the side of his head with her gun. for her size, she was actually quite strongm
Animator: *once she started getting physical with their only way out of there they decided to step in, Anim came up behind her as quickly as possible before she could react and before she could put her good hearing to use then put her in a headlock*
