First, the only reason the facility is around is because of "The Boss"

We never learn his name because he barely remembers but I'm pretty sure I named him Damien or Markus

Everything started when the big lady came along (Dr Moth)

She saw opportunity in him, offering him a chance for greatness. Yet that deal caused him to become the monster he is now

When he woke up, he met his co-creator. (I forgot his name so I'll just call him co.) Co found him on the ground after the deal. His head was bleeding heavily and he had a huge scar on his left eye

It hurt to see him like that, bloodied up and everything. When Markus woke up he was in a hospital bed. Co greeted him glad he was still alive and they slowly became great friends.

They had a big idea, and created Facility 21, it was a small testing facility with people donating their bodies to science. Untill Markus wanted to do something bigger

He had alive people come in, thinking it was a nice little camp. It wasn't, people were tricked and experimented on. Those who were left behind were taken and abused.

However, something happened that Co didn't know. Markus has quickly fell in love with Co, he was scared he might reject him.

What did he do, be more nice and doing the little things that might make Co happy. It was all nice untill one faithful day, everything came crashing down onto him. He was looking for Co, he wasn't seen on the cameras or anything.

Markus found his Goggles first, and then his dead cold body. It was in a janitor's closet, his blood was leaking out the door. Reality set in, he was dead, actually fuxking dead, gone forever. He couldn't bring him back or anything.

Markus sobbed, he was on the brink of insanity. First his son hiding his eyes, now the only love he ever knew dead. Everything came clear to him, he needed to continue his work, have some way to bring him back.

He would continue his work, it may be dangerous but bringing him back was his only motivation besides his son. Markus kept Co's body, in a glass box, strung up like a doll. He had made a substance to keep him from rotting or aging.

Every now and than he admired his body, patched up, beautiful, and looking like an angel. He was always so gentle and sweet to him. Maybe if he stayed alive everything would be okay. He could finally retire and be with Co. He just had to move forward, nothing would get in his way, that's what he hoped.
