Raven opened his eyes to see a misty orb floating around his head, buzzing like a very loud cicada. He grumbled and swatted at it, causing it to evaporate. He then stood up, put his coat back on, and walked through the faint moonlight to get to his flowers. A girly thing, Raven thought to himself, to have a flower garden. That’s what anyone would say to him before they had met the flowers. He eventually reached the patch of the forest where the silvery plants resided. In the dim light of the full moon, they seemed to glow. Raven picked up a rusty old watering can from inside a tree, felt that it wasn’t empty, and began watering the flowers with the blood from the can. Yep, a normal night for him. What wasn’t normal, however, was the barking he heard. It sounded like hunting dogs. Then he looked to the edge of the trees and saw that t actually was hunting dogs. He immediately sprinted in the other direction, getting chased. Never mind, he thought. Not a normal night. e
