i know there are billions of people, and many share my situations, but sometimes when i here a song about something that i went through of struggle with, it truly moves me

like, okay context i found this song called "if i believe you" by 1975 (i like the daisy clark version) and from what i understand its about struggling with relgion, and to me, i really really want to believe in god, i want that sense of guidance and reassurance but i just, dont, i cant, i've been through phases of believing in god, and when i was really young i did for sure. but i just, i want to think god is look out for me, and that he's there for me, and that he's real, but i just truly cant, i want to so badly, but i dont i've cried out to him many times in my life and i have prayed many times to someone i dont believe in, but i,just, idk, i just cant. i miss the love i felt in church when i shared the space with my people and my god, but i cant feel that again
