Her execution could be she’s being chased and there’s three doors and every time she goes through the right one more doors appear and eventually she walks through the wrong one and falls to death or something
i imagine him being one of the people she trusted and liked so when he died she snaped so motive for killing
hers would be "well if the evidence is there lets put it together" and do just that
