Her hands shook slightly as she walked quickly over to Kai, kneeling next to him. She examined his face with a slight frown. "K-Kai?..Y-You're still there right?"

Her head snapped in Alex's direction with a cold look that wavered slightly, giving Kai a small, comforting hug before standing up and starting slowly towards Alex, still a bit wary of the whole situation. "Y-You're such an ass, you kn-know that? What gives y-you the right to kill s-someone like that?"

Her brows furrowed, her eye twitching a bit. "Don't...Don't call me that. Y-You act like you've lived under a r-rock your entire life, not l-learning basic morals and th-things like that...I-I loathe people like you.." She stopped close in front of him.

She kept her voice as calm as she could as foam started forming at the corners of her mouth. "I'm not afraid of your stupid ****ing gun. All of you mobsters are weak on the inside. Each and every one of you ****ers break eventually." She roughly grabbed his hand holding the gun and pressed it against her head, giving him a dead stare. "You can't ****ing kill me if you wanted to."

"Wasn't your threat that I was going to be next? You kill others to push yourself higher in this business. It's pathetic you have to kill to feel satisfied with yourself. Get ****ed." She gave his stomach a rough kick as she let go of his hand simultaneously.

She didn't bother picking up the gun, kicking it roughly to the side as she approached him again. "GET THE **** ON THE GROUND!" She suddenly yelled at him, kicking him in the stomach and crotch until he fell over.

She took off one of her heels, getting on top of his chest. She bit down roughly on her lip that caused it to bleed heavily, a manic look in her eyes. "I'm so ****ing scared and angry because of you. I hate this feeling so much you have no idea." She mumbled most of her words before using the heel to scratch and attack his face, repeating the same rhythm.

She hit him a few more times, some foam and blood dripping down her chin and onto his chest as she gave one last hit before stopping. She took in a few heavy breaths before getting up, putting back on her heels and giving his side one last kick.

She felt a bit bad seeing him shake like that, feeling a sense of weird deja vu as she walked away from him, focusing her attention back on Kai.

She tried her best to ignore the dead body as she sat next to him, not saying anything and only giving his arm a gentle rub.

She looked over at him with an understanding smile, her lip still bleeding a bit from biting it. She opened up her arms. "W-Want a hug?"

She rubbed his back comfortingly, softly brushing his mane with her fingers.

"T-Take all the time you n-need, Kai.." She did her best to comfort him, hugging on tighter.

She caressed his cheek with one of her hands, looking at his eyes. "D-Do you want to get out so w-we can talk in a better en-environment?"

She nodded off, getting up and holding out his hand to take hers with a weak smile.

She held onto it tightly, not wanting to bother looking at either of them. She sighed softly as they made their way out. "A-Are you hurt anywhere?" She glanced up at him.

She nodded off, giving his hand a soft squeeze of comfort. "I-I know what it's like to l-lose a family member. I-It's not the best." She gave a soft, half-hearted laugh as she glanced at the ground with him.

D: Codi: *he knelt next to Kai and pat him on the back, whispering very softly* "I'm so sorry..."

Codi: *he slowly looked up at Alex, both grief and fury in his eyes* "You're a monster-"

(i really hope he comes back :'D) Codi: *he growled a bit and tears streamed down his face* "Why'd you even do this?"

(im gonna play sad music now for maru) Codi: *he stared at him* "That's just messed up. Dakarai was just caring for his family."

(that wasn't supposed to be funny-) Codi: *he grumbled* "You're puny if you think you have to kill to beat the enemy."

(okay no now im playing yoshi sounds to make me feel better) Codi: *he glanced at Kai* "I hope you get Alex back one day-"

Codi: *he still eyed Alex and grumbled, but he was also concerned for Kai* "You okay man?"

Codi: *he stepped in front of Maru's body* "Should we move him now or..."

Codi: *he paused and stuffed his paws in his pocket* "We can...bring him to the office if you want."

Codi: *he nodded* "Yeah okay. Where should we bring him then?"

Codi: *he thought about that* "Okay..."

Mira-Jane: *she let out a shaky sigh as her eyes went back to Kai, tears formed in the corners of her eyes she didn’t want to lose him, she quickly wiped her eyes and went into the alleyway* A-Alexander

Mira-Jane: w-what the hell do you think you’re doing!? *her voice trembled slightly, clenching her fists* (Brb mother wants a smoothie)

Mira-Jane: it looks like you’re doing something you shouldn’t be doing- *she glared* (Back)

Mira-Jane: I need you to stop this, Alex. *she got closer, trying her best to put on a brave face even though she was horrified*

Mira-Jane: *she kicked him in the groin* shut up!

Mira-Jane: you made the mistake of underestimating me last time and you still haven’t learned! *she gritted her teeth, yanking him down by his tie and putting a pocketknife to his throat*

Mira-Jane: why should I? *the sharp edge poked his neck as it got closer*

Mira-Jane: how about you scram before I do something I regret, hm?

Mira-Jane: good. *she let go of his tie* get out of here or I’ll change my mind.

Mira-Jane: *she huffed before turning to Kai and the body next to him, starting to speak* Kai are you alright-

Mira-Jane: *she glanced at the body, coming to realize who it was, her expression softened and a frown quickly grew on her face as she walked over* i-is that...Maru..?

Mira-Jane: *she looked down at him before kneeling beside him, pulling him into a hug* I’m so sorry..

Mira-Jane: *rubbed his lower back wanting to comfort him, she felt bad, wishing she could’ve been there sooner to do something* I'm sorry I wasn’t here sooner Kai..

Mira-Jane: *she gave him occasional pets to help calm him down, she looked away still feeling as if it was her fault* he’s in a better place now...

Mira-Jane: All we can do it hope, besides I’ll keep bothering god until he gets there. *she slightly smiled*

Mira-Jane: *she quietly sighed* you..wanna get out of here?

Mira-Jane: I’ll call someone to take care of him *she got up and held a hand out to him*

Mira-Jane: *she helped him up and started leading him out of the alley*

Mira-Jane: *she tightly held his hand as she looked down* ...where do you wanna go

Mira-Jane: you can crash at my place for a bit, you may need the rest *she looked back at him*

Mira-Jane: *she nodded and gave him a warm smile, she led him to her place not saying much more for the rest of the trip, she got out her keys and unlocked the door*

Mira-Jane: *she opened the door for him* come on in

Mira-Jane: mhm *she came in behind him, closing the door* make yourself at home

Mira-Jane: *she took off her coat which had blood on it*

Mira-Jane: No-no it’s fine *she glanced down at the coat before putting it down* I need to get a new one anyway

Mira-Jane: *Her ears perked up in surprise, she looked up at him as she rubbed her eyes*

Mira-Jane: *she smiled and leaned against him too*

Mira-Jane: you seem so stiff *she looked up at him with a half smile*

Mira-Jane: *she crossed her legs* you wanna talk until we fall asleep?

Mira-Jane: I dunno. *she averted her eyes* I haven’t seen you too much lately so why don’t you fill me in on some details

Mira-Jane: that’s good *she smiled and laid down, gesturing for him to join her*

Mira-Jane: yknow I’ve been waiting for you two to get along.

Mira-Jane: heh I just feel kinda bad hanging out with the enemy
