Linki’m probably wrong and i’m probably making my irl friends feel like shit by saying this if they even see this but they didn’t do anything i just feel like im more likable online i guess and they just like more online cuz i kinda feel like im just…. floating around whenever im with them irl it feels almost as if im not there

Linki feel like they acknowledge me when it’s just me and someone else but if there’s me and two other people i always feel like i’m just.. spectating their conversation

Linkthe worst part is i probably can’t do anything about it
i have spoken up about it before but that didn’t really change anything. and it’s gotta be because there’s something wrong with me irl that makes people not really care to talk to me if they have another option available

Linkeven when it is just me and someone else it feels like the conversation always ends up turning into something about another friend or another person

Linkthe interactions i get from people online vs those same people irl are drastically different sometimes, it makes me feel like i have two completely different lives with the same people in them

Linkit makes me wonder if there’s something about me irl that just drives people away from me and that it’s nothing i can change
maybe i look weird or stupid or i act stupid i don’t know
it's because you feel more secure with being yourself online because you're anonymous, you just need to gather the confidence to feel that security in person as well
yeah, i've felt this exact way so i can get where you're coming from. you likely are living two different lives both online and irl because it's so easy to get so comfortable online vs irl where confrontation matters much more. you'll have to find a way to overcome whatever anxiety you may have about talking to people irl as confidently as you do online. i don't know exactly what that may be so i can't give input on that but the sooner you try to overcome things the better
