The raining had stopped and the dew slowly froze to a shiny frost as the day had started, the cold breeze shook Jagard as the ricked, old building began to fail as age passed, but it was still strong and useful as a shed and a temporary home for Jagard.

He opened his frost blue eyes and looked, he could just see the light of the cold sun pour into the small hole he had looked through, pouring weakly into the shed. He felt his body wake up and he slowly got to his paws and stretched, unsheathing his black claws and digging them into the earth.

The sound of birdsong and the flutter of wings made his ears twitch and his tail flick, he felt like he wanted to kill something, but simply just hunt. Unafraid of his abusive parents, he padded out of his nest slowly and opened the door, now that he was almost fully grown and dependent on himself, he felt stronger.

The farmer switched out his goats bedding and cleaned the stalls and the shed, the old man was weak but he still took care of his animals. He poured water into Jagard's and the other's bowls and headed off once his daily chores were done. Jagard had felt sympathy for the poor old man, how he was weak and couldn't move as fast.

He padded around and finally saw her, the newborn that had been born yesterday. Her pelt looked just like father's and she had white splotches on her pelt. The baby was asleep as the parents were nowhere to be seen, little did he know they were coming back. He went a bit closer to the baby and that's when the parents walked in, Maria screeched and Jagard ran quickly, he wasn't scared, he was just bored of their drama.

The parents ran to their baby's aid and checked her all over, she awoke and cried tiredly as they had woken the poor baby from her slumber. Jagard stopped and sat licking his paws, he just wanted to see his baby sister, but even that drove his hateful parents up the wall.

He sighed and rolled his eyes and seen the baby had finally noticed him, her eyes were a pretty blue-green as she stared in curiosity at him, he looked at her and simply looked away, going into his shed for food and water. The baby only got even more curious. She wondered who he was, and she wanted to find out.
