Since this is the case, Hanahaki has sudden bursts of emotions, sometimes lashing out at others, or himself, attempting suicide in a number of different ways. In calmer situations, he will simply be insensitive to try to give back the negative emotions he doesn't want.

He is usually solitary to keep himself from hurting others physically, and is sometimes much too tired to do anything due to pain.

Since this is a curse, he can't control it, and people who are in alot of pain or have alot of negative emotions will suddenly feel better when theyre around Hanahaki, but Hanahaki will be in despair.

yeah this is usually why he's insensitive, but if you actually get to know him he's pretty nice and he's kinda quiet.
