Linki think it's funny how the people i despise the most are the reason im making this post. partially out of spite, partially because it's true.
five months ago is when i should've been speaking out about this, huh.
better late than never, tim and salad [neg].

Linkbisexuality is the attraction to two [or just, more than one] or more genders, that is how i understand it. it has ALWAYS included trans and nonbinary folks.
pansexuality is the attraction to all genders aka no preference.
now that we've gotten the definitions out of the way, here goes nothing.

two labels, bi and pan. there are subtle differences between the two but in the end? **** that, i think they do the same thing. id yourself how /you/ want to id.
battleaxe bis really love to say that pansexuality is inherently transphobic because some pan people like to say, 'pansexuality is attraction to men, women, and trans people.' by separating "trans people" into their 'own group', it implies that binary trans women and trans men arent '''''real'''' men or women. which is transphobic. however? only a few people use this term and it's the pan people who are misguided and are just. Wrong. as wrong as battleaxe bisexuals, who believe that bi = pan and think everyone attracted to multiple sexes is bi. absolutely not.

Linki hate to water it down to something like this but the following is the only example i could think of. synonyms. it's a bit like synonyms.
let's say you have the word scared.
from scared you have frightened, afraid, fearful, nervous, and panicky. from frightened you have
startled, alarmed, terrified, shocked, and appalled.
if bisexuality is like the word scared, and is treated like, yk, an umbrella term, what do we have?
a load of sexualities that make the people who use them comfortable.
that arent biphobic or transphobic.

Linkppl really dont like to look past archaic and old terms used by a sexuality, huh? things that the majority doesnt even use anymore. educate the misguided and wrong, but dont trash the entire f.cking sexuality. That is uncalled for.

also, speaking of sexuality umbrellas and whatnot,
im going to mention that some microlabels are actually transphobic / [x,y,z]-phobic. do your research on them before using them, thanks. that would be all.

LinkIce out.
As somebody who is Pan, I appreciate this post a lot!
I do wanna she’d some light on the “men women and trans people” part though as I do often include that when explaining.
There are alot of people, gay, straight bi ect who don’t date trans people based solely on personal preference. This doesn’t make them any less a man or a women, some people just don’t find it attractive
Personally I would date a trans person, make, female, non-binary trans, anything as long as your not hurting anyone it’s fine by me and your mot less attractive for it.
But I can get why it’s added to the term under pansexuality as there are a lot of people who just don’t find that kind of thing attractive
