the freshmen last school year were terrible, an so mean
i’m not ready for new freshmen
class of 2026 on their way to be confused as school staff cause they’ve convinced themselves they look much older than their actual age 🏃🏻♀️💨
and their last normal year before the pandemic being 6th grade 😭

I'm not in high school, but I can somehow relate
The 8th graders had only part of one normal year before covid, 6th and 7th graders didn't see much normal,l at all
And later last school year (before this summer break) there was a poorly organized school dance
And kids from pretty much all grades thought it was a prom
At least one kid (6th grader most likely) GOT A LIMO JUST FOR THIS 'DANCE'
idk how else to help them hope she won’t turn out like *those* class of 2026 kids 😭
In my corner of the Midwest, we do school as 7th to 12th, so our freshmen are never too annoying...
Except for next year goddammit
Our 7th graders (Effies) f***ing suck, though, my sister is being homeschooled for 8th grade because they are a bunch of catty preps and "dank memers" and I want them OUT and now I have to make sure my sister is not indoctrinated with right-wing propaganda from my mother (She's good, but got her books from my conservative homeschooling aunt) and the 7th graders keep on challenging me for the first chair in my orchestra and they suck at their instruments, but still stress me out, and they just SUCK SO MUCH
