Linkya know my art teacher asked me this recently and I have a really silly answer actually...it all started in pre-k when I saw a boy drawing...he was really good at it but I was like hey if a boy can do it I can do it and do it ten times better...so I started to draw and it was more then just a competition it became a way to cope with stress I know I'm not the best at it on here but I paper I really throw down most of what you see here is done with a laptop pad so its hard to do what I want- I'd like to thank all of you guys for the support seriously..thank you so much you guys keep me motivated and on the move..I know I don't draw much but Im just trying to finish school...so yeah there will be more to come tho...you can bet on it!
iv been drawing since 1st grade after my grandpa taught me some tricks..... then I went on to making young author books that I won every year(I loved the attention).... after 3rd grade however I moved to a new school and stopped drawing for awhile(I did occasional calk art).... it wasn't till 7th grade that I started drawing again on a regular due to being forced to take a art class.... find out the teacher really liked my art and used it as a example to other classes.. after that i decide to take it seriously and didn't stop drawing..... some point during that time I also joined flipanim for the first time...
also it helped that ever time I saw some one with better art than me I never looked down on my art I take it as a challenge to some how surpass them and it only makes me try harder!!!! :D
Not going to lie I don’t exactly remember the first reason on why I started drawing but I suppose as enjoyment and entertainment.
It mostly started off when I was perhaps 7-9 or something when I used to draw with my sister, although it was more like tracing chibi art and etc as a hobby on paper, we continued doing that for awhile until I eventually stopped drawing and doing that, but my sister continues, now she’s a fantastic painter! And is really good at painting landscapes and stuff :)
Me while for me I started drawing again after some time but I don’t remember the reason or why I ever stopped the whole tracing on paper hobby thing but I guess I just realized it wasn’t going to do much to improve my art.
I about 10-13 (now) I started studying other people art, trying to understand anatomy and drawing much more than how I used to back then, in 6th grade I’ve completed a whole entire sketchbook full of old drawings and I still have them now.
But in about 2 years I’ve managed to improve a lot! :D
My cousin was drawing this one MLP OC drawing on this old hand me down laptop on Ms paint and I was so inspired and I watched Fun2Draw for years until I just drew on my own.
