LinkOh also I'm thinking about value again and I think I see value differently because we assign value to generally useless things like money and paper
but I see value in things that generally do matter like relationships, people and stuff. Things that are ultimately personal
big problem i see in nihilism is that by thinking that nothing has value or matters, then it also applies to basic things such as morals and personal relationships, which when looked at that way can be very problematic in the sense that someone could think “wow! if morals are a made up thing which doesn’t matter in reality then if someone does something extremely ****ed up (like literal genocide for example) it doesn’t really matter!” and i’ve also seen the nihilism idea be used as a reasoning to not involve urself in things to benefit other and yourself, for example i’ve seen leftists who DID things like make food for homeless people and generally very good things and then completely stop due to adopting the nihilist concept into their ideology
so i feel fundamentally even if it is ehst u think, u should still see it as more of “nothing matters but i can then use that to assign things value personally to me, i get to choose what matters”
well anarchism could never work because no matter the type it would always result in a state being formed, fundamentally anarchism is “no government no state, all are free to do whatever they want!”, they rely on voluntary organization to get things done rather than force. a state is a body which seeks to have people follow some set of rules somewhere in the world basically. so how does it turn into a state? well, given those basic details, people would still want protection and freedom to whatever without threats, which would emerge agreements they have to make to do that, “u agree to this and u are protected by this voluntarily organized group of people”, people who DONT agree to one of these would find it increasingly difficult to then protect themself or find basic needs because in order to do so they would have to agree to a set of terms given by an organization of people, and eventually would lead to one organization forming its own state where everyone else is obligated to follow its set of rules,
