So first of all, they don’t actually have genders. They are referred to as “its” but I have the gender thing there so I can tell them apart. The species are called “Gelatins” and of you want to make one, please ask me first. Details will be below.

So they are split up into two groups, the meat eaters and the plant types. The meat eaters I will refer to as the males and the plant types, I will refer to as females.

So the males eat meat/insects like frogs and bees, unlike the females. When they find their prey, they spray a toxin that attracts the prey. When the prey lands on the flower, the flower closes and traps the animal, devouring it. Kinda like a flytrap. The females get their nutrients from the sun. Also, the liquid in their body is basically their blood. If the glass material keeping the blood in them breaks, the liquid will all come flowing out, thus killing them. Hey also don’t have mouths, the mask looking thing on their head is actually their face. The pupils in their eyes can be any shape. The pupils could even be two different shapes, but those are rare. The younger females eat by using the leaves that are shown. The leaves fall off after the flower has fully bloom. The younger males get their nutrients from the sun until the flower has bloomed. They don’t have a specific color range, but the more complex design, the more uncommon it is.

The ears they have are used as hands, but the younger ones use their tails as hands since their ears are to heavy to lift them up. Also the kids are more slimy then the adults at first. The kids ears are also way longer than the adults. They also can’t be near water or in the rain or they will get hurt. The slime on the male’s feet make a track wherever they are walking, making them targeted by predators. He face expressions on the mask can be different expressions too. They also burrow themself in the ground and disguise themselves as flowers to hide from predators. If you pick the flowers on the creatures, it will hurt them, but they will grow back.

They aren’t that big tho, the adults are the size of a shoe, the baby’s are the size of a 5-year-old’s hand. The younger gelatins are also more delicate so the mother will stay with them until they are an adult. Also, the petals of the female’s fall off and grow into the younger ones. Some times the petals will not reproduce, but the mother stays with the petal until it does. So the female will bring the petal with it until the petal grows, making it stay with the petal until the mother dies. Also, sometimes they will reproduce, but then die due to not being healthy enough. The liquid in the females are more see-through then the males. The liquid can be candy character, but the more colors in the liquid, the more rare it is. Their is one type that has a galaxy looking liquid, and their is also one that has a liquid that glows in the dark. Those types are really rare and only 1 out of 10,000 that are born can get one of those. And that’s basically it.

I will now put the features in different categories. Ask me for the features you want and I’ll tell you if you can have use those. Everyone can make a regular one after asking me (the regular designs are the ones above).
