So is a character whose species is thought to be "extinct" His entire nation was slaughtered and suddenly disappeared after the huge battle against the Ushin and the Sake (Pronounced Sache) monsters. He lived in a small cabin with his three siblings and parents. At the age of 3, he was almost kidnapped by one of these monsters, but his older brother, Sake (Again, pronounced Sache) saved him, yet got kidnapped himself. Soon enough, So was sent away so he could be safe, but his memories were lost so he doesn't come looking for his family. He lived in a bustling city and made many friends as an orphan. Soon enough though, at the age of 15... He meets some monster who seems oddly familiar... Who's hunting him down and trying to take him away, just like one tried when he was a child. Soon he realizes this monster is his brother, Sake, and they together search long and far to recover their memories and get their family back together.
