Melrose was talking with a new friend of hers. Ash, he seemed rather tall. Melrose was actually going to the markets to get some things. Ash just decided to come along.
Philip Was at his own shop, he had grown older and had packed some height. He had replaced the old eye patch with a blue one, at the moment to was talking to a small rabbit.
Melrose had her hair in a bun. Basket in one hand. Ash seemed to be looking around. Before saying goodbye to melrose as she looked around for some things.
After dealing with the Rabbit to want up in front of his shop to water some of the cacti, being careful with the amount. He smiles at passersby's, waving and smiling.
Melrose looked around, before stopping at the flower shop. Her ruby colored eyes glancing around. Before someone bumped into her, causing her to tumble. "Hey watch where your going!"
Philip seemed to jump in surprise before he looks behind himself. His glance catching Melrose's, she seemed familiar, than he remembered the eye patch.
"Hello," he said with a nervous tone.
Melrose looked over. " oh, uh, hi." She smiled. Her basket had some herbs in it. She stared at him for a moment. " you look like someone i've met before" she said, curious slightly.
He chuckles with a hoof behind his head,"Yeah, Does a gang and an eye patch ring a bell," he hints on. Had he changed that much in appearance?
Melrose paused, before grinning. " oh! I'm so sorry philip! I didn't offend you did i?" Ahe seemed slightly concerned.
he shakes his head,"No no, Not at all! I wouldn't be surprised if you did remember," he says with a chuckle.
Melrose chuckled. " yeah.. i've been through alot sense we last saw each other. I've been taking care of the shop and... the gang that attacked you a while back."
He nods but with concern,"Are you alright by all of that? Did they hurt you!?," he asked. Even if he changed in appearance he didn't change on the inside.
Melrose laughed. "I'm fine! You know how i am. They just... stare from afar.." she glanced around for any of them.
He sighs,"WOuld you like to come in?," he asked. Motioning towards the shop enterance.
Melrose paused. " uh, sure." She smiled. Though she lied about one of his questions. But she really did seem alright.
He smiles as they went into the shop, you can see a black goat leaning against the wall. Phone in hand, he looks up at Philip,"Hey boss," he says, Philip seems to smile at him,"Calvin," he says sternly.
Melrose nodded at the black goat, setting down her basket. "Thanks philip" she smiled. Making sure she had all her herbs.
"No problem," He says. Philip waves off Calvin, he rolls his eyes and walks out into the back, Philip sighs and looks back at and Melrose.
Melrose was still checking her herbs. A closer look you can barely see a bandage on her shoulder through her shirt. But she seemed not to have any problems.
Philip tilts his head,"Are you still picking fights?," he asks. His ears flicking back and forth out of habit.
Melrose jumped. " i err... no. Why do you ask?" She looked over at him.
"oh, I can just tell," he says,"And a few injuries," he says plainly.
Melrose sighed. " alright, alright yes i have. But its only when i need to. You know how it is." She stretched. Looking out the window.
He nods,"I know but, just don't lose an eye out their," he says, brows raised to emphysys his case. His patched eye 'looking' at her.
Melrose chuckled. " i know. I'm more careful than you were philip. Speaking of which... has that gang been picking on ya at all?" She looked over.
He huffs,"Yes, they have been laying off," he says backing up,"But they come here now and then," he tells her.
Melrose raised a brow. " why? What do they do?" She seemed concerned.
"I'm guessing scouting, at the moment," He says. Calvin comes back and closes the shop doors, Philip glances over but looks back at Melrose.
Melrose seemed to be thinking. Her once long tail was no longer there. She stared out the window. She sighed.
He notices and seems saddened but doesn't mention it,"The sun is going to disappear, I don't think you want to wonder the streets at night," he says quietly. Calvin stands next to Philip with a bored expression.
Melrose smiled. " i'll be fine, philip. " she looked over at him. Before grabbing her basket. " though i guess i should head home." She hugged him. " thank you." She smiled.
He smiles,"Your welcome," he says, Calvin chuckles. Philip huffs at him,"Quiet you, You're the one who-,""SHUSH, we do not speak of that," Calvin hisses back.
Melrose chuckled. " well if you boys need anything just look for my shop" she smiled. Going to walk out.
Melrose smiled. Walking down the sidewalk. Basket in hand. She looked behind her every once in a while.
There was a shadow in an alley, Philip glares at the window. Calvin looks over at him concerned?
Melrose stared at it before walking faster. Seeing her shop in sights. She sighed in relief.
There was a flip of wings and the figure disappeared. Philip sighs and locks the shop up, Calvin leaves and Philipp is left alone.
Melrose seemed nervous. Making it over to the door. Feeling safe she pulled out her keys and tried to find the right one to open the door.
There was a thump behind her, and a gust of wind. Philip was talking with Calvin at the time.
The figure kicks the back of her legs, then grabbing underneath her arms. Trying to take flight off the sidewalk.
Melrose yelped, staring below. " i-i swear to god you drop me and were gunna have some problems!" She tried to grab onto their arms.
They shush her and take off into the night, Philip heard a yelp and glances out the window. But it is much too dark to see anything with the tall towers all around, so he shrugs it off.
She tried to cling onto the figure as much as possible. Having a severe fear of heights.
The land in a nest-like place, it sat in a tall pine tree. The figure drops Melrose into the nest and land themself into a far branch. Their wings tucked in and under their 'cloak'.
Melrose looked over the edge before stumbling back. "J-jesus thats high!" She looked around the nest. She then searched for her phone.
The figure took out a small knife and through it at the phone. It break and falls towards the ground, they glance down at her. Their face underneath a plague doctors mask with blue markings.
Melrose stared at it. Before sighing. Sitting down. She had lost her basket during the flight. She curled into a ball and laid down. She was mostly defenseless, scared from the heights. And had no way to contact anyone.
"Why the long face pooch?," they ask, their voice sounding like a male.
Melrose growled. "Don't call me pooch! I'm high in the air. Defenseless. And i can't even contact anyone thanks to you breakijng my Fųňķïñğ phone!" She stared at the figure, before laying her head back down.
"Whatever you say pooch," he giggles. He then jumping into the nest,"Would you like anything?," he asks.
Melrose growled at him. Moving over to the wall of the nest. Curling into a ball. Staring out into the distance.
"Alrighty then, I can leave you here for the animals," he says turning around. Saying it cocky and proud.
Melrose paused. Before growling. " then i'll jump. " she stared at him. Ears pinned back.
He looks back,"I wouldn't do that if I were you," he says a bit nervous but trying to keep his tone.
Melrose growled. "Well its better than being stuck up here!" She huffed. " i have a shop to take care of ya know!"
"And I have a task to do pooch," he says, hand on his chest and bent forwards. His brow raises at her.
Melrose growled. "And what is this task! What do you want from me!" She seemed angry. " did that gang out you up to this?! Cuz i swear i will beat that leader until he can't evem feel his body!"
"hey hey, Calm down gal, I don't have any beef with you, I just have to keep you here for hmmm," he taps his mask,"A month," he says tilting his head casually.
Melrose completely went iinto a outrage. " a month?! You expect me to live up here for a month! I rather jump now!" She growled, walking over to the edge.
He waves his hands,"Woah there, This is just temporary, your not living in this nest," he says.
Melrose huffed. Sitting down. Staring into the scenery. She seemed... more calm. Or... content. But she wasn't happy.
"You're living with me," he says pointing at himself. He wings opening up, preparing for take off.
Melrose growled. " yeah yeah..." she glanced over at him. " just don't drop me-"
She clung onto him, staring below. Hopping to catch a glimpse of philip. Maybe even her brother.
there was no one but strangers. The figure drops on the roof of a building into entering it, forcing Melrose into the house.
Melrose winced when he touchef her shoulder blade. Stumbling forward. Growling every once in a while.
He turns on the light, the condo looks nice. But the kitchen was a bit messy, he walks in,"Welcome to your kidnappers house!," he says cheerfully.
Melrose grumbled, flopping down on the floor. "Thanks..." she sighed.
Melrose huffed. Curling into a ball. " what am i your pet now?" She glanced at him.
"If you Wish~," he says. His goggles shine as he looks over, on the inside he was laughing.
Melrose grumbled, getting up and moving to a different room to lay down on the floor and sleep.
He chuckles and then sighs,"They better not come back," he says darkly.
Melrose laid in the room, staring at the wall. Thinking, she seemed rather saddened nos.
Philip was at home, working on things. But something irked him, his ears flinches and he faces the window.
Milo was in bat form at the window. Banging on the glass. He seemed scared.
He sees them and goes to open the window,"Hello Milo-," he says backing up.
Milo flew in, turning human. He seemed shaken up. " h-have you seen melrose? She didn't come home and her shop isn't open. And her basket was in the road on the way here." He stared at philip hopefully for some good news.
"No, I haven't, she left my shop a while ago," he says concerned,"howdidyouknowwheremyhousewas," he mutters.
Milo paused. " errr... thats hard to explain. Either way melrose is missing and i don't know where she is! She won't answer my calls!"
He seems panics and then sighs,"I don't know either but panicking won't help," he says.
The bird sits on the couch, then glancing at the door where Melrose was at.
Melrose had laid in their for quiet a while, she should be hungry by now... right? There was just some faint singing.
Milo sighed. " your right... but what are we gunna do?!"
He grabs there shoulders,"You can track right? Maybe you can track her scent?," he says, he wasn't sure.
The bird gets up and knocks on the door,"hello?," he asks curiously.
Milo shook his head. " i-i've tried. Its like she just disappeared...or flew.."
Melrose didn't say anything. She was actually checking on her shoulder. Grimacing at the pain.
His eyes widen,"Scp," he mutters under his breath,"It's the Scp," he says in realisation.
He shrugs and walks off, then grabbing a knife.
Milo paused. Staring at him in shock. " scp? What scp?"
Melrose sighed. Hiding the bandaged shoulder before looking around.
(Nah, i'm usually up this late. My brain works better at night apparently.)

"They are known to go against me, just because I told him off," he says annoyed,"He's a lip d^ck Jack^$$," he says to him.
Milo paused, before sighing. " you know where he lives, do you?"
Melrose sighed. Getting up a peaking out of the room. Looking around.
"Yes, but we're going to have to travel far," he says sighing. His tail flicking.
The bird looks at her,"Hey Pooch, finally want something?," he asks her, he was cooking.
Melrose grumbled. " yeah yeah, kidnapper..." she stumbled over to the couch.
Milo nodded. " lets get going then."
He nods and they leave towards the car,"Be careful, he is skilled. Calvin knows," he comments turning on the engine.
"Alrighty Pooch," he says chuckling.
Melrose flopped onto the couch. Huffing.
Milo nodded. " we can stop by my place, get some weapons from melrose's stash." He stared off into the distance.
He nods, Listening for direction to their house. His face stern, his hoofs clutching the wheel.
(I'm getting a bit tired so I won't put to much detail)

Milo stared at the road ahead. Eyes narrowing.

As they drive the road, they picked up the weapons. His expression didn't change.
The Scp's tail flicks," he's coming over," he mutters under his breath.
Melrose growled. " whoever HE is i bet hes coming for me." She huffed. Looking away.
Milo was grumbling.
(I might actually go to bed-)

"Sure pooch, what ever you think," he says simply, even if he knew what is ment.
"Calm down, He won't hurt her," he says,"For the first hours," he growls.
Melrose huffed. " yeah yeah doubt me all you want pigeon." She grumbled.
Milo chuckled. " this is melrose were talking about here."
