Linkso lemme tell ya wot i love about joot
and it's not just cause he's attractive and a delinquent
it's a bit more than that
so, originally i didn't think i was gonna like jotaro
he looked like that average jerk in anime that all the girls liked cause he was hot
so i wasn't really expecting much
kinda just a shallow character that's main purpose is to be cool
and on the surface, even after watching the show, he might seem that way
but after watching it i absolutely fell in love with his design
he was literally canonically a delinquent that was a big softie
if you just pay attention to smaller details you can start to see how much of a well written and lovable character he is
even some of his one-liners when he defeats people are just so lame they're adorable
they're only 'cool' because of the fact that he, Jotaro Kujo, says them
"you knocked off my hat. even the ocean couldn't manage that"

Linkthe story literally progresses because of his love for his mother
like, as soon as she didn't bid him farewell and give him his goodbye kissy he wENT LOOKING FOR HER
could've been she was busy doing something with the guests
maybe forgot
so many other reasons than just she fell seriously ill
bUT HE GOES LOOKING
and even when he's first introduced
he seems like a jerk delinquent especially since he curses at his own mother and is rude to the jail guards
but then if you even just think about why he's there
he literally says it too
he's s c a r e d of hurting anyone
even the delinquents that attacked him he felt bad for because of how badly he hurt them
just
think about that
and he is a really cool character
it's said many times he's the quiet, stoic type that just makes a lot of people fawn over him
and he's really strong and smart too
so that also helped me respect him

Linkand, in my personal opinion, the OVAs made his character even better
it might just be my love for the 90's aesthetic and stuff
but just
i really loved what they did with him
he was still very cool and calm and stuff
but they made him more considerate and showed how he actually cared about people
like the girl that got attacked by kakyoin
kak pointed out that even though she was just some random girl, jotaro wouldn't be able to see her get hurt just because of how much she cared about him
doesn't matter how much the girls annoyed him, he still didn't want them to get hurt
i just love how much of a big softie he is

Linkbasically, i just loved how araki's main point of him was
he's OP
he's cool
he's a jerk
but he has a good heart
i only really started loving him so much after i just looked into his character and started really appreciating it
i get some people may not like him
but i just really love everything that went with him
(part 6 still makes me sad)

she was a potential stand user and they didn't know if she was gonna attack them or just a normal kid
but as soon as she went overboard he went in and fought a literal shark just to protect her
and also the anubis fight with polnareff
he got so many stabs as to just not hurt his friend
