LinkSo here was the first recipe i tried : salt dough
1 cup of flour(maida works too, i think???)
1/2 salt(I used sea salt cause i don't have table salt lol)
1/2 water
so this recipe defiantly worked!! Though cause i used sea salt instead of table salt(fine grine sea salt gives the same effect as table salt, i think...)you could see the grains of salt. it did take about 7-9 hours(i was sleeping...)to dry, on each side(if you give it a place where it's not AS stuffy. like don't put it in your closet or under your bed.) But this recipe is super easy and many youtubers called this salt dough, or homemade air dry clay! but yes, this recipe is great, and you most likely have all the ingredients at home! Though i think you have all the ingredients for all of these 4 recipes...

LinkI also found this one on YouTube : Cornstarch clay(that's not it's official name lol)
1/4 cup of cornstarch
1-3 tablespoons of lotion(hair conditioner gives the same effect, maybe even better)
It's very easy to mold. which is a pro(for obvious reasons)and also a con. you see, if you let it lay, on round parts it'll turn flat, etc. it DOES dry, but if you squish it, it crumbles. I really don't suggest this recipe. i found it on youtube. If you really wanna try it as a clay, put a gloss or mod podge on it after it dries. then paint over the gloss(or mod podge)then paint over another gloss if you want! Still don't suggest it. :l

Linkthis one i really thought it'd work : sugar clay
2-3 tablespoons of flour(i believe maida works as well)
1 tablespoon of sugar(i just used granulated sugar)
1/2-1 tablespoon of water
So i came up with this myself. Let's get into this. While molding it, it never kept it's shape that well. It was also pretty sticky but, i just added a smidge more flour. it didn't really dry and harden that well. Go try it out for yourself if you want, and tell me your results!

LinkMy personal favorite : Soup Clay
2-3 tablespoons of flour(YES I THINK MAIDA WORKS TOO)
1/2-1 tablespoon of liquid hand soap(for creamier texture)
1/4-1/2 teaspoon of dishsoap(for a more moldable and kinda stiffer texture)
1/2-1 tablespoon of water
So for the water i do suggest 1/2 tablespoon, but if not just knead it with some flour on your hands and your surface/bowl or container. I made this myself!! I'm proud ehehehehe. It hardens like the rest, 6-10 hours or so, and is a good texture, and pretty nice to mold and shape! btw all of these are my opinions.....but i love this clay!!

LinkI never got to try this one(i don't have glue) : Cold porcelain
1 cup of cornstarch/cornflour
1 cup of glue(white or clear)
2 tablespoons or olive or baby oil
2 tablespoons of lemonjuice(or lime juice)or vinegar(add some essental oils or something if you want to get rid or that vinegar stank)
You have to shove it in the microwave in 15-or so-second inter vaults. or cook it on a stove in a pot. yeah check any youtube video for better description(s). it looks great!

Linkhehehe : the original soap clay
5 tablespoons of flour
1 tablespoon of cornstarch/cornflour
1 tablespoon of liquid hand soap
1 tablespoon of baking soda(i dont' think it matters what kinda...)
1-2 tablespoon of water
yeah it just had the same results as the second soap clay attempt, but this one is a bit more complicated so it's not really important.
