Theres a comic where daken meets Wolverines old corrupt military sergeant, who takes control of this dude with Down syndrome who he uses to kill a town of people in order to drag wolverine out of hiding, then forces daken to fight his dad. And wolverine being a veteran goes crazy upon seeing the sight of his Sargent again and he goes crazy and naked and lives in the forest for a few years, AGAIN
