irl i usually tell people that im nb or to just call me by they/them pronouns so that other people wont harass me for having someone call me he/him or my preferred name

okay so basically,, im a trans guy right? okay. so i would very much prefer for people to call me he/him and my preferred name but i usually ask for them not to do so because ive had other people do that before but theres always someone that points it out and corrects them or makes a comment on it so that we have to correct them but then that person just looks disgusted or confused or they just call me by some slur

i really dislike having people deadname me or use she/her pronouns but i also dont want people to judge me becuase i use he/him pronouns and my preferred name.. so i just have people call me they/them and a shortening gender neutral form of my birthname so that i can stay relatively closeted

another reason why i usually tell people that im nb is becuase theres a lot of people that call me a trender because i dont really look that masculine and i absolutely hate that but i also dont want to have to explain my dysphoria to someone who already doesnt respect me so i just leave it be
