"Why are you always crying and complaining to mom!? Just toughen up for once!" Lucinda growled at BD.
BD pinned back his ears, growling back. "Do not start with me. Not right now at least."
“How about we just all calm down now?” Vianna told the two, getting in between them, trying not to get mad. “Look. Your father just has som issues alright, he needs help with them. If he did it by himself it would be much harder.” She told Lucinda, her ears pinned against her head.
Lucinda crossed her arms, "Maybe he shouldn't be such a big baby then! He can't just whine to you when he wants someone to hug him and tell him everything's gonna be 'alright'!"
"That's the exact definition of a break down!" His voice became louder and more threatening, starting to cross over into Sleepwalk.
Vianna sighed. “How about we just talk about this and not be rude?” She asked the two, smiling awkwardly.
"NO!" The two said in unison.
BD twitched quite a bit, "Go to your room before I hurt somebody."
"FINE!" Lucinda stormed into her room, slamming the door. "UGH! I jut wish I had someone who wasn't so stupid to talk to!" She punched one of her pillows.
Vianna turned to BD. “Are you okay?” She asked in a quiet voice, feeling a bit nervous.
“Is that what you really want?” A black and white spotted cat appeared in front of her eyes yellow eyes, being bigger than her.
"NO!" He snapped, lashing his tail.
She stopped. "Who....said that?" She looked at her.
She backed up a little. “I’ll leave you alone if you need the space.” She started to walk away from him.
“Hello Lucinda.” She smiled down at her, patting her on the head.
He grabbed her hand, sighing heavily. "Don't leave...."
She growled and swatted at the cat, "Back off!"
She hugged him gently, looking at him.
“I’m not going to hurt you Lucinda. You said you wanted somebody to talk to. I’m that person.” She told her, not caring if she was rude.
"I just try to protect her..." He hugged back, resting his head on her shoulder.
"Who are you and what's the catch?" She arched a brow.
“I know you do. Just try to be a bit more calmer.” She spoke, kissing his cheek gently.
“I’m Ash, and I can basically help you in situations like this. But sometimes I have to take control of your body. If you want me to, or when you get really mad.” She explained to her.
He growled a bit before giving in and closing his eyes. "I try so hard..."
"Like uncle Sleepwalk?"
“It’s okay. I know.” She nodded slowly, kissing him in the forehead.
“Sleepwalk..” she started for a moment. “Yes. Like Sleepwalk.”
“I love you.” She sighed happily, nuzzling him.
“Yeah- so. How about it?” She asked, raising her paw out to her.
He nuzzled back, whispering, "I love you too, Vianna..."
Lucinda just sat there with her claws extended forward before she took Ash's paw.
She kissed his cheek again, purring quietly.
“Good girl.” She patted her head gently and smirking.
He closed his eyes, tired.
She couldn't help but smile happily at the pet. Even though she had some temper issues, she was still a child that enjoyed getting called good names.
“You wanna sleep?” She asked, nothing he was tired.
Ash looked down at her, and pulled away from her head, setting her paw back down.
“Okay. Let’s go.” She walked him to their room.
“You must like pets.” She laughed quietly, looking down at her with a smile.

She laid him on the bed, sitting next to him.
She giggled, petting her head again.

He cuddled up to her.
Gaining the smile back, she purred happily.

She smiled, laying beside him and kissing his nose.

"Uh-thanks?" He licked her forehead like a lion.

She blushed a bit, nuzzling him gently.
Ash laughed, petting her head again.
"Married for over a year now and you still blush at my licks."
Lucinda purred happily, enjoying it.
“S- sorry. It just feels warm and weird.” She blushed more by his comment, sighing.
“Your enjoying this huh?” She asked, continuing to pet her.
He pulled her close and licked her forehead again.
"sssshut up and continue.."
She blushed a bit more, purring quietly.
“Okay, okay.” She laughed, purring quietly as she petted her head.
“I love you.” She whispered, cuddling him back.
“Hm.” She mumbled, starting to think about Sleepwalk, and her past.
He soon fell asleep in her arms, mumbling, "I love you too....Vian.....na...." aaand now he's asleep.
She curled onto her bed, asleep.
She kissed his cheek before falling asleep.
Ash sighed, walking out of the room and closing the door.

By morning, BD was already awake and making breakfast.
Lucinda woke up and looked around, "Ash...?" She said tiredly.
Vianna walked out of her room, yawning quietly
Ash appeared on the sid elf her bed. “Yes Lucinda?” She asked, looking at her with emotionless eyes.

-the room smelled of french toast-
"Are...you okay?"

“It smells nice in here.” She spoke, slightly smiling.
“Oh. Yes I’m fine.” She responded, looking at her with a small smile.

BD turned around, "Oh. Goodmorning and thank you."
Lucinda sniffed around. "Do you smell that?"
“Your welcome.” She smiled at him, purring quietly.
She sniffed once. “It’s breakfast. And you need to eat.” She told Lucinda, licking her paw.
"Sit down, I'll get you a plate. Lucinda!!" He called.
"Come eat with us."
“Thank you.” She purred quietly, sitting down at the table.
“I think not, and I don’t think they would like a stranger suddenly coming out of their daughters room, and I know someone that would no welcome me.” She told her, smiling sadly.
He got out three plates, placing the toast on each.
She sighed. "They won't care either way. Now come on." She didn't care what Ash wanted. She grabbed Ash's hand and dragged her into the kitchen.
Vianna slightly smiled and then looked at Lucinda, seeing Ash.
Ash sighed awkwardly, rolling her eyes, looking at the two and feeling awkward.
He looked at Ash, confused. "Luc, who's that?"
"Her name is Ash. She's my....friend."
Vianna ate her toast, purring quietly and closing her eyes.
Ash was quiet, her ears pinning against her head. *this was a bad idea* she thought, looking down.
"You finally made a friend?" BD perked up happily, "Come here, sit down, I'll make her a plate if she would like some."
Lucinda gave a look to Ash that said: *Told ya'* As she sat down.
Vianna ate her toast, looking at Ash, and slightly smiling.
“I- don’t want anything..” she mumbled, sitting in a chair and looking down awkwardly.
"Alright! What would you like?"
Meanwhile, Lucinda was a giggling mess.
Vianna finished her bread.
“Water.” She responded, rolling her eyes at Lucinda.
He nodded and poured her a glass of water from the fridge. He set it in front of her and sat beside Vianna, kissing her cheek and starting to eat his toast.
"Oh-dad-about yesterday....I want to say.....I'm sorry." She stopped giggling, her expression more serious now.
Vianna smiled, and then looked at Lucinda, being glad that she said sorry.
Ash looked at Lucinda as well and slightly smiled.
BD smiled at the word 'dad' and nodded again. "Apology accepted." He continued to eat.
She smiled a bit towards Vianna and began to eat as well.
“So. When did you two meet.” Vianna asked the two with a small smile.
“Oh we, met a week ago and we met at a store.” She told Vianna, slightly smiling.

Vianna laughed a bit.
Ash felt like she had to lie for Lucinda’s sake, not wanting them to know that she had a side like Sleepwalk, she sighed, looking down nervously.
Once the two were done eating, BD put away the dishes.
Lucinda looked at Ash, "Hey, wanna go to the store? I have money."
Vianna soon got up and hugged BD from behind.
“Uh- sure..” she mumbled, getting out of her seat.
She looked at BD for permission, who shook his head. "Either your mother or me goes with you." He placed a hand on Vianna's, nuzzling her gently.
“I have to go meet my older brother from some stuff so could you?” She asked BD, slightly smiling.
Ash nodded. “That’s fine with me.”
He nodded, "Of course. Bye, sweetheart. Stay safe." He gave her a little kiss before breaking away and grabbing Lucinda's hand.
Lucinda snuggled into BD's arm.
Vianna smiled, purring quietly.
Ash stood next to the two, looking down nervously.
BD waved bye after getting the essentials, leading them to the store. "So Ash, tell me about yourself."
“Oh- well. I live by myself and I usually like to give advice to people and draw.” She told him, looking down nervously.
“I don’t usually talk to people much.” She told him, scratching her ear.
She nodded, looking at Lucinda nervously. *how long is this lie going to be for?* she asked herself in her thoughts.
