Okay, sorry bout that) tidal swam swiftly under water, letting the current flow through his hair, he thrust himself forward with a flick of his scaled tale

Rairiko was laying in an old ship that had crashed years ago.
YEAH OKAY I CAN DO THAT-))
Rairiko Swam under a small school of fish, looking for any that looked like they were falling behind.

Mari and her crew were fighting in the distance, loud booms from canons could be heard and the smell of smoke was within the air. Unfortunately a shot was fired right underneath the ships keel (bottom) and Mari feel unconscious into the water.

the loud sound scared the fish and her, she knew the sound well so swam towards it, hopping to find at least scraps of humans left.
Mari continued to drown unconsciously for a few seconds before they blindly woke up, desperately trying to swim back up to the air before their lungs filled with to much water.
she heard the struggling thing and swam right up to them, she grabbed their arm and pulled them up to the surface.
They took a big breath oxygen before turning and looking at the thing that helped them. “W-Wicked creature of the seven seas! Don’t eat me lad, I don’t taste good I’ve been eating raw fish.“ they quickly said while obviously panicking.
"fish?" she sniffed them "smell like..dirt." she looked around then pulled them to a bit of a drifting wood from the boat then dove back under the waves.
The pirate was extremely confused now and just hanged on the wood for a bit before they decided to swim to the nearby shore.
she popped back up with an arm in her mouth she wanted to give it to the pirate once noticing they weren't there she dropped the arm and swam to the shore, humans(?) like land for some reason.
Mari reached the land and sat tirelessly on the hot sand, thinking about the creature she saw.
”I’a might be hallucinating… to much water in le lungs.“
she swam up to the land and crawled out of the water. her fins retreated into her body and her tail split to make legs causing pain. "gha-"

Mari didn’t notice and continued to drift off into a sleepy like state, trying to gain complete consciousness again.

she stood up, wobbling a bit. she walked down the beach coming across the corpse of a sailor and taking his jacket to wear (BC WHY WOULD SHE HAVE CLOTHES??)
Mari head the foot steps off something or someone, but was unable to get up (BECAUSE THEIR ARMS AND LEGS FREAKIN HURT BECAUSE A CANON BALL WAS FIRED AT THEM)

she noticed the pirate and walked closer to them getting down on her knees and poked them gently.
Mari looked over confused and waved her hand slowly.
“o-oi lad, haha..“
she took their hand, studying it..she never actually looked at humans for, all she knew was to eat them.
she pushed them back down and did it again, she was listening to their heart.
Mari looked at the woman with a raised brow.
“You look like something I’ve seen before, what’s your name?”
Mari smiled widely.
“What a nice name, I’m Mari the treasure hoarder.“
Mari started back.
“What’s the matter? Look lad, I know I’m dirty and I still don’t have my land legs back!“
Mari tried to stand up but wobbled a bit and chuckled.
“When you’re on a moving ship all day out in the ocean it’s much easier!“
Mari eyed the woman for a moment and took off her comfy pirate robe to put on Rairiko.
“Cmon, let’s find some town so we can find yer some clothes.“
Mari gently grabbed the ladies hand and begin to walk, to the nearest civilization.
They ended up in a busy village with a beautiful castle in the distance.
“It’s alright lad, calm down.“ Mari walked into a store with some people.

she was watching them, her head tilted. shes seen things like the smaller one but nothing like the bigger one.
she hissed, backing up staying as far as she can while not losing sight of it.
she just growled and swam away flipping her tail up splashing a bit of water.

a little farther away she climbed up onto the shore, her fins and tail disintegrating or retreating into her body causing pain.
she crawled away from the water, shivering a bit and covered her body(obviously she has no clothes)
she backed up more touching the water, and hissing when she did like it hurt.
she stepped farther in and ducked under the waves a few moments later her tail flipped up splashing more water.
