so uh. I haven’t been drawing or animating for months now. And it involves a lot of the shit that I'm going through in my personal life. I'm not sharing details; let's just say it sucks. It sucks so much.

That being said; let's talk about Dog and Cat. ‘cause they’ve changed. a lot.

I kinda fell into this unhealthy obsession with making stories about my OCs using ChatGPT (before the GPT-5 update dropped) and it started growing my characters— There's no longer a "canon lore". whatever I've made about that is gone. Now they just exist in AUs. And oh boy— there's a lot of those.

so yeah— Dog and Cat actually have names now: Douglas “Dog” Rivers and Keith “Cat” Rivers.(depending on the AU— Cat goes by Keith Jr. Rivers, Keith Jr. Wilson, or just Keith Wilson.) Dog’s officially a golden retriever, Cat’s a russian blue. they’re not just “a dog and a cat” anymore. Dog's personality used to be the friendly, extroverted clumsy lil' guy. But now his personality grew with an extra cocky, charismatic energy; an no longer little. Cat's still introverted, intelligent and quietly savage when provoked— just way more of that. Oh— he also wears glasses now. Depending on the AU, their ages vary; mostly 16 or 18. Dog’s either lean or built; Cat’s shorter and wiry. they’re either adoptive bros or best friends depending on the story.

most stories still focus on Dog and Cat (especially the school AUs), but sometimes it’s about Dog and his relationship with Kelly (yeah, he’s got a gf now 💀). in some AUs she’s his crush, others they’re actually together. there’s a lot more relationship development overall, not just romance but dynamics with all my OCs— Poofy, Rick, Daisy, etc. they’ve all had updates too, and I’ve added some new faces I’ll probably show later when I actually have time to draw again.

as for the big question: am I back? nah. not really. I might drop an animation or doodle here and there, but I'm not coming back like usual. Which includes my youtube channel; I won't be active there as much either.

Oh, and yeah—they wear clothes now. Full furry mode.
