LinkYou were the newest member of shavenders crew you joined because you wanted to kill sea monsters which was what that crew was all about you noticed that the captain who was shavender always wore a cloak with all his hair tucked back in and a eye patch you were confused seeing how it was usually always a hot day out at sea but didn’t bother one day you were told to go to his quarters to bring him some food you were excited to finally go into his place when you entered the tiny room on the ship you saw a human shaped lump you realized that shavender was sleeping you set the food down when you noticed a blue glow coming from under the blanket which was covering every part of him you got curious and crept over slowly peeling back the covers you were surprised to find your captain with fins for ears and the ends of his black shoulder length hair to be water he was the one thing he swore to destroy

"Eh! captain-? wh- i- I don't get it.. you're a..." He stuttered in his malfunctioning, tattered voice.
"I- but you-,, huh..?" He sat down next to the wall out of pure and utterly confusion.
He blinked his eyes open and looked at him one of his eyes was black with a blue pupil “oh fvck what are you doing in here!” He yelled
"I- I was just bringing you f-food no need to get so- Ack!!" Spike jumped and jolted against the wall, hiding hid head and tucking in his tail.
"j-just stay the-there okay , please..." His voice was a mix of an older feminine voice as well as a younger boy's voice, it was a common occurance.
He rolled his eyes and stood up a tail popped out of his lower back and moved side to side as he approached him “what am I so terrifying that I made that happen again?”
"h-hEy!! stOOop thaaAt!!" He yelped wildly, struggling for control of his voice, it was more feminine with little touches of masculinity.
"I said s-StAY! BaCK!"
He scoffed obviously annoyed he picked him up with one hand and held him up
“Calm down I’m not gonna hurt you unless you attack me first idiot”
"Huff,, I-....mm, But-,," He didnt know how to respond to anything that had just happened right now, he had embarrassed himself and possibly ended up as someone's catch of the day, what worse could happen?

He set him back down on his feet
“What am I too horrifying for words” his said with sharp words
"No,, its just-..."
He took a deep breath, even that cutting out at times.
"Why kill, oth-others like yo-you-ou?"
He hissed
"Im not like those monsters this is a curse from one of those beasts they killed my father!"
"H-aHOW WAS I- I SUPPOSED TO-TO TO KNOW?? YOURE ONLY TELLING ME THIS NOW!" Spike hissed back at him, his tail spiking up and down and solidifying, ears folding back.
"IM S-SORRY- TH-THAT IT HAPPENED BUT- I- I DIDNT- KNOW-W," His voice was more of a high pitched girly voice with hints of a deeper male voice in there.
He looked a bit hurt before looking at the maps on his desk
"I've spent years and years trying to find that bastard I'm only nineteen so you gonna be a snitch?"
"Huff,, Huff,, I don't s-see a reas-reason-on to, it wou-would be pointless-ess, but on one condi-condition," He calmed down a little, and gained a sudden boost of confidence in himself.
"Willing-g to hear-ear me out?"
"heh~! great~! now,," It was almost as if it was all a whole act, to wake him up, act scared and draw him close. it was all a game to spike, as he draped his arms around his neck, he whispered into his ear.
"If I don't snitch heh~ how about you let me devour the bastard who did such a thing to you? hm? how about it,, I'd say it's a good bargain, unless you'd like me to eat you somewhere, hehehe~!"
it was a very smooth and sweet masculine voice, no interruptions just him and shavender in this room.
He had turned slightly red from the arm drap thing he actually thought about it and was still
"Unless you can eat a huge Sea beast then I don't think this deal is gonna work..."
"hehe, don't worry I can eat all kinds of sea beasts, even yours captain," His voice was all neutral and smoothe, just how he wanted it to be. he sat Shavender on the desk and proceeded to sit on his lap.

"hmm, I could possibly, hm-m, removeyourcurseforyou ahem!" He coughed loudly after uttering that quite quickly, his voice for a split second had a hint of femininity in it.
He frowned
"That isn't possible the curse has been on me for so long it would kill me if you removed it..."
"Wellll,, I have been to the afterlife a ton of times, who says I can't just bring you back?" he giggled at him, finding it funny how he's telling a god such silly nonsense.
"Uh I would rather be a sea monster then a ghost plus it's it's lot faster getting across the ocean with my water powers now uhm can you let me off my desk" he sounded slightly flustered obviously trying to hide it

He turned slightly red again but he knew he had to re pay him some how that's what his father always taught him

"okay then, hehe, I'll be back in here after lights-out hehe~!" He giggled leaving the room, the captain's secret safe with him.

He sighed not really sure what he just agreed too and continues with his work

He lent out, feeling the air in his hair. but he almost fell overboard, he clutched the edge of the ship and called out.
"HEY! CAPTAIN FISH TITS!! HELP ME OUT HERE!!"

He groaned and ran out in his normal get up picking him up

He jumped and sat up one of his eyes which was the eyepatch one was black with a blue pupil “what the fvck!?”
"Sorry sorry I was trying to bring you f-food" covered his view of him and put the thing that he tipped over back
He frowned growling which showed off his sharp teeth it wasn’t a loud growl but soft
"Sorry again, i-ill make sure To pluck out my eyes and tounge I didn't mean to have the wrong timeing" fixed it from being crokid and hastily left
He rolled his eyes and tripped him on his way out with his tail
“Uh yeah no your not going anywhere”
"Oh okay-" he practically squeaked out his words, absolutely terrified
He strode over smoothly like always and picked him up by the back of his shirt and stood him up*
He massaged his temples
“Lemme guess your ether gonna rat me out or kill me?”
"N-neither sir! I was gonna make sure I wouldn't be a-able to" he said quickly, not lying
He had a blank face he then just patted his head
"Good I was right about you not being a snitch no one like those kind of crew members"
He shivered "t-there would be no use in snitching or trying to kill you, I know this kind of stuff is important to y-you" He said fixing his hair
He smirked and put him in a headlock ruffling his hair playfully this was a side of him that almost no one has gotten to see
He just dropped him laughing
"HA mistake!" He joked "I can't do trust falls"
"OUGH-" he fell on his face, he got up wiping his mouth "what the hell" he laughed a bit
He laughed a bit more "and you decided to do it to wimp, that's a bit disappointing"
He chuckled and helped him fix his hair
"Alright sea cracker let's get back to work"
He gasped a bit "that was kind of offensive" he put his hair up and went to leave

Later one of crew members were talking about the same nickname he had called him which was sea cracker
He was near him when he was talking about that, that kinda made him frown a bit
"I find it weird how he only calls people he actually trusts or likes sea cracker I mean come on such a weird name" the conversation got couldn't be heard anymore as they walked away
He mumbled something to himself and went on with whatever he was doing
Shavenders soon came back in his normal clothes and stared steering the ship

"I was young and stupid picked up that stupid slate in a sea monster language and it came out of it and..." he sighed sadly
He looked at him
"Watch this" he whispered his hand turned into water when he stuck it out a little and the waves got stronger pushing them forward
"Yeah and then there becoming a sea monster when the moon light touches me.."
He stared at the fish before his eyes went to the black and blue and he snatched one out if the water his eyes going back to normal
He looked at the water suddenly his eyes widened
"FVCK!"
Right as he said that a sea beast burst out of the water eyeing the ship
The beast tried to strike at him as the crew scrambled to get weapons shavender quickly tackled him away and the beast took a bite of deck
Something had hit shavender in the side hard knocking him unconscious and he stared rolling towards the broken part of deck where he could easily fall off the boat
He was somewhat light so he could easily be picked up but without the ships captain to direct the crew they were done for
He coughed and slowly opened his eyes suddenly something hit both of them knocking them off the ship he let out a scream and his transformation happened he quickly connected them by his water tentacles right before they hit the water
He quickly pulled them up again he looked different then before his hair was completely water and he had blue scales on the sides of his face and his hands were blue and claw like "NO NO NO MY SHIP" he screamed out as the beast destroyed it they were too far to help
The ship then soon sank and he screamed and cried for awhile before getting himself together and kissing his forehead
"Your my *hic* priority now..." he started swimming still crying
He swam all the way to a island dragged him onto the bank and passed out in the sand
A really long time Later he woke up and imidtally sat up and started coughing out blood
He was still out cold because the island was so far away and he didn't take any breaks on the wah there
He pat his back gently, he hadn't bothered wiping the blood from his mouth so it was still there
He rolled over and faced him when he noticed he weakly pulled out a napkin and wiped his face under his eyes were red like he had cried a lot
He coughed a bit again, "I'm sorry I'm the only other survivor sir" felt bad for him
He laids his head back on the sand and he stared sobbing literally Mr grown men don't cry and no one had seen him cry sense his dad died was sobbing loudly
He made him sit up gently and hugged him "everythings gonna be okay, I'm so sorry about your ship"
He just hugged back barring his face in his shoulder still crying his body shaking

He woke up and groaned sadly
"Come on let's just build a boat and get back to crippling society..."
He sighed and tried to help but he was a bit to weak for that, throwing up blood again
He just snapped his fingers and pointed to the ground for him to stay put while he does all the work
He picked him up and carried him to the new quarters and lays him on the wood bed tossing his coat ontop of him his arms showed scars and scales
He patted his head and looked at some maps to try and tell where in the world they are
He had laid on him cause that's the only working bed it was also night time from how dark the room was his jacket was acting as the blanket and he snuggled into his chest some with a little sigh
He pushed him slightly and got up and quickly Took off his shirt and the bandages he had on so he could breathe properly
He had woken up cause the warmth had left he turned and looked at him instantly his face turned red
He just slowly put his hands on his face but didn't close his eyes
"P put a shirt on!"

His sea monster side came out and growled at him the water tentacles came out to
He was tying ropes together when he suddenly felt dizzy he stumbled as one of his hands started turning to water
He started throwing up water how on his knees as his limbs slowly turned to water there was a thump when he fell
He let out a loud scream as his arms turned into floating water slowly
His eyes were wide and fully blue he looked to be in a daze on his knees his arms up in the air slowly turning to water it surrounded him as it started raining
He really didn't know what to do but he gently picked him up, really scared for him
He didn’t react his body just turning to water until it suddenly stopped and his limbs reformed his eyes turned back to normal
He quickly flipped out of his arms and puked up water panting heavily
“Y yeah happens sometimes being cursed isn’t just fun and games”he still seemed sad that he was Mad at him
He was purring and thrilling so much that his body vibrated a small bit
(Yeah and he also did that's what I ment but I'm horrible at multi tasking so I had to shorten it )
He tried to make himself stop But when he went out he did look like he'd been crying
He noticed and gestured for him to come to him his water hair blew in the wind
He hugs back still steering because they have no crew members to take over "you alright lad?"
He had soft fluffy hair but slightly damp because of the water half
"Alright finally a town maybe we can get some new crew members..:
He held his hand intertwining there fingers together as he walked to shops to buy materials
"Uh nothing" smiled at him, just trying to play it off as if he was just tired
He looked at him with sadness "Well you were clearly anxious when I looked at ya"
He gently turned his face back towards him looking at him with worried eyes
He just hugged again "can I do anything to make you feel better?"
He turned a little red and smiled wearily at him before leading him back out into the shops
After getting materials and doing a little speech about needing crew members they got to the ship with full supplies and a bunch of new crew members
He greeted the new members though one of them asked a question that finally broke him they asked what happened to the other crew members obviously still a sensitive topic because he quickly left to his quarters letting go of his hand
The person just shrugged as shavender didn't come out of his quarters
He was crying when he looked at him he had thrown things out of anger "its my fault they died because I'm too worthless of a captain MY FATHER DIED BECAUSE OF ME I TOUCHED THAT FORSAKEN STONE WHEN HE TOLD ME TO STOP IT MY FAULT MY FAULT YOU ALMSOT DIED MY FAULT THE CREW DIED AND IM...I'm...I'm scared I'm gonna make another mistake that kills more people because I'm a sorry excuse of a captain they deserve someone better so do you...." he slumped to the grown sobbing

He stared at him for a second then just went over and hugged him, saying nothing

He just sobbed while still mumbling how it's his fault everyone died

He opened a eye and sat up rubbing his head groggy “knock it off will ya-“ when he saw him his eyes went wide “hey what the hell are you doing in here!”
His eyes went wide and he bared his teeth backing up against the wall
“Hey put that down as your captain that is a order!”
He quickly stood up tentacles made of water came from his back he quickly snagged the knife from him pulling it back to himself the tentacles disappeared after he had the knife In his hands
"As a member of this crew you are my shipmate and I have taken that oath I will never hurt you and I am your captain as long as your alive so I order you to stop!"
He tripped him with his tail and picked him up "listen to me will ya before you make me angry!" His voice was combined with a low growl
He took a deep breath to compose himself
"Listen idiot I'm not gonna hurt you ok this is a curse I'm not a born sea monster"
He frowned with a scowl like usual
"What you gonna go rat on me after I gave you a place here"

He frowned and lifted a hand put it turned into a water and lifted the bowl up and cleaning the food he put it on his desk it was now completely dry and clean
He came out after awhile with his usual get up and steered the ship
He moved his finger Sligh and the waves went forward pushing the along the water a bit faster
He let someone else take over hiding his hand in his pocket which was made of water he had walked over to him and also leaned on the ship walls*
One of the fish jumped up and his other eye turned to the black and blue he made a quick movement grabbing the fish and killing it his eye went back to normal
"Shit need to control that more" he mummbled
He looked at him and at the fish and literally stuck it out and muffled through fish
"Want some too?"
His eyes widened before he shouted
"BEAST LOAD THE CANNONS GET YOUR SWORDS!" He pulled out his sword which had ingraveings and coral designs on it
The beast was about to try and eat him but he pushed him out the way it took a bite of the deck instead
"NO!"He jumped in losing his cloak the moon had already risen so his hair turned into water fully and he got blue scales on the side of his face his nails turned into claws which were now covered by the blue scales and sharp scales on his back tore through his jacket and tentacles made of water came out of his back he grabbed him and swam up to the surface gasping while the beast attacked his ship he sobbed as the beast was winning
He was sobbing there was nothing they could do they were too far away as the ship sank and the beast disappeared there was silence
There was silence before he let out a ear splitting scream uncontrollably sobbing
He was sobbing he the started swimming away holding him close still crying
He eventually got to this island and dragged him onto his passing out in the sand
He was still out in the sand but back to his normal form because it was day
He looked at him with a bit of hope in his eyes
"Are there any other survivors?"
There was no possibility way that anyone could have survived that he was holding onto false hope
He looked around seeing no one he just started crying dude was mr grown men don’t cry was now reduced to a crying shaking boy

"You should have knocked" he stood up stretching

He seemed genuinely curious
“I’m not one of those monsters they cursed me and killed my father I will avenge him by killing every single one!”

The wind swirled a bit faster as the wind and ocean pushed the boat futher
They soon came to a dock where everyone was leaving to rest or drink at the bar shavender was tieing the boat to the dock he really did need to go out and stop working for a second
"Because I always have to take care of the ship of course"
The ship didn't even need to he taken care of
Dennis: but, the ship is already in a great condition, and you can always tend to it when you get back, you work so hard already, why not take a tiny break?
He frowned before giving up
"Fine but I have a very low tolerance so it's your fault if I do anything weird he grabbed him and practically dragged him to were the other crew members were which was a bar
He sat down with a slightly bored expression

"Here we go again!" One crew member joked and and laughed and so did the others

Dennis: Let's get you back on the boat, shall we?
He giggled and hiccuped

Dennis took the opportunity to carry him into his room and put him in bed
Dennis tucked him in, hoping that the alcohol would wear off before he woke up
He grabs his hand before he left "stay..please.."it was muffled because he was facefirst into the bed
He just pulls his over gently and grabs pulling him down on bed too and cuddling
using them, I guess a ship? they have the ability to shape shift,, yknow everything.
alox, eyed him before dropping the plate onto the floor making a big crashing sound. "God. I must be sick."

No one else seemed to ask anything and just did there jobs like nothing big was happening
At night I decided to go ask him about it* hey caption just a question?
He was in his quarters when sunset has started sitting in his chair looking at maps now he still has his cloak and eye patch on "speak"
