In areas scattered around Louisberg, Minnesota, seven odd teenagers fell from the sky. One of them had landed in the woods near a small log cabin. He had surprisingly suffered no injuries, but he had no memories except for his name. Simon. A small old woman named Margret had seen Simon falling, and she rushed to see if he was okay. And to what she saw, she was astonished. A 7 foot tall boy with long, fluffy blonde hair, razor-sharp teeth, and 7 pitch black eyes. She knew what Simon was, but Simon he didn’t. As Margret guided him to her house, she insisted he call her Grandma. When they got to her house, she gave Simon a special hat designed to hide his eyes from everyone else. Simon was later enrolled in a high school where he met Ellis. Ellis was around his height, albeit slightly taller, with similar distinctive sharp teeth, and auburn hair that covered their eyes. Because of the things they both had in common, they very quickly became friends. Of course, neither of them were perfect.

Ellis seemed to very easily become jealous of others, causing them to make unwise decisions, and Simon was very easily angered, to where he would often become violent. Despite their flaws, they got along just fine. But one day, Ellis had somehow caught Simon without his hat, revealing his soulless eyes. But instead of showing fear, anger, or scorn, Ellis seemed to understand, and even claimed to know what Simon was. Ellis requested that they both meet up in the woods behind Ellis’s neighborhood. When they met up, Ellis gave Simon a can of caffeinated soda. Simon had previously told Ellis that he wasn’t allowed to consume caffeine or any type of stimulant, but this time, he thought “What’s the harm?” And took a sip. Very soon, he started shaking, almost as if he was in distress. As Ellis was trying to calm Simon down, he suddenly sprouted four dark grey wings, and a halo that appeared to be broken in two pieces.
