bruh so im fiNALLY DRAWING ON PAPER AGAIN and i decided to draw a part of Fabians childhood. This centers around his mom mainly and what he thinks of her basically? So we know his dad. Ronny. Is bad a bad man a bad father **** that guy right. But his mom is more complicated than that. Get ready for this boys imma do my best to explain it in a condensed manner

So, lets go back. Fabian was sort of an accident right, at least thats what his mom told him. At first she was a good mom but quickly as her relationship w Ronny strained so did her demeanor. One of the reasons why Fabian is insecure w his looks is cos he looks a lot like his dad. Especially as a kid, so naturally his mom ****ing reminded him of that a lot. She grew distant and verbally abusive, yet would have her moments when she’d cry and hold Fabian and apologize for everything. It was a confusing cycle especially for Fabian as a child, but it was the closest thing to parents love he’d got. So fast forward to now, he understands how toxic his relationship w his mom was. Hes told himself he also resents her, but he’s just angry that his dad made her behave that way. It’s still unhealthy and though she put Fabian through shit, he’s still attached to her. Its his mom, she’s the only person who showed some sort of empathy.

I cant explain into words how damning his mom’s behavior was. She was a bad mom, but that doesn’t make her bad person. Its honestly a result of trauma she never healed from. She still hasn’t healed from it because whenever she sees Fabian, she goes back to yelling at him. She doesn’t want to see his face. It triggers her in a sense, although Fabian did nothing wrong. She’s connected the abuse she received from Ronny to Fabian. So it’s like, because of Fabian she’s getting hit. Because of him, he stopped loving me. Because of him, she is miserable. She’s also come from a rough background as well so it was just too much and she DID NOT HANDLE IT WELL. As a result, we are left with a neglected child who is still stuck living w his ****ing father. Her way of getting out of the abuse was to leave and abandon them. Both of them.
