Hey. You are not done. Yeah, you may not ever get back with Dio, but that does not mean your life is over. It sounds like you either based your entire identity off of her, or you felt so close to her that it now feels like half of you is gone. This is a tough situation to be in, and is why I always try to stay at least a little bit distant from whoever I am with. But you are NOT done. You have a life. Don't waste it regretting your actions. You will find somebody else, and you will be happy again. The idea of "True Love" or "Soul Mates" are accurate, but not in the way they are described. Most describe those as one time things, when you can have multiple "soul mates" over your life. Just because somebody is out of your life, doesn't mean you are done.
