Modern art to me at least is extremely pretentious and hard to genuinely grasp or enjoy. Most of the time, it seems like people who create and enjoy modern art have the perspective that it’s better than regular art just because “it has meaning”. Modern art insists on its self.

I feel like it’s lacking in things to genuinely believe in besides the fact that it deep. Don’t even get me started on anti art, you aren’t doing the move you think you are by making something that goes against the concept of art, that isn’t what you want to do
