LinkIn this tutorial I just point out some details I add to make my dragons look better and more realistic. Each of the details I point out can look however you want. for example, the horns can be short or long and curly. Or the spine details can be short spikes, long spikes, plates of armor, long webbed fins, etc. Some things to keep in mind are if you are making a dragon for a specific climate or purpose, for example if you were making a dragon for a cold place you may consider giving it tufts of fur or ice-like spikes rather than fins that a water-like dragon may use. Just think of what an animal in nature might have. I hope this helps!!

Linkwowowow (:
When I draw dragons, I usually don't put an ear, since most Reptilian or avian (the modern evolution of what used to be dinosaurs, and thus probably related to dragons) Don't have visiable ears, to my knowledge.

Here's a shading tutorial for a friend, go to about 4:10 and that's when it tells you where to shade. The earlier stuff gives good advice on other things though.

This tutorial goes over some good things too, at the beginning there's some good stuff they talk about but if you want to skip right to the point go to about 1:45.
