Venandi (Meaning “hunter” or “hunting” in Latin) Rabbits are a species that are actually more closely related to foxes rather than traditional rabbits. STATUS: Semi-Open APPEARANCE: They have long bunny-like ears which are fuzzy and soft. All of these have spikes on their front and/or back legs; Their legs are long and slender, and have retractable claws in their paws. They are slightly bigger than a full grown bunny. Normal Venandi Rabbits have tufts on their tail which comes in shades of green, turquoise, and sometimes blue depending on where they are. Unusual Venandi Rabbits have spikes along their back, and rather than a grass-like tuft they have a flower (of any kind) in it’s place. Rare ones have both spikes and a leaf or other type of plant in it’s place. DIET: They prey on mice and other small rodents, snakes, fish, berries, nuts, bugs, and other animals. They hunt by digging in the dirt, with which they use a combination of their leg spikes and claws for, and settling in until only..
