she was very nice. she was warm, practical, organized, and emotionally literate. One of the first people vick genuinely relied on and she loved him deeply in a very human way.
she died from complications of a treatable illness, it was not sudden, but definitely wasnt long enough to prepare either. she got sick, then tired, and then one day she didnt come home. (MAYBE…., aggressive pneumonia or an unexpected complication from a pre-existing condition, quick, treatable under normal circumstances, but it escalated too fast).
-she was hospitalized for a week, with vick staying by her side constantly.
this ravaged vick emotionally because he believed that if he planned, prepared, and did everything right, his family would stay safe.

Linkshe taught him that ‘doing everything right’ still isnt enough. he was there in the hospital while hearing the doctors reassure it was “manageable” and “responding well” only in the end she didnt respond. She passed while he was still convinced she would come home

he is a corporate/professional fixer, so very secretive
in the past, he was a paramilitary operations officer for the CIA with many team members who… got decimated 👀
he trained with tactical officers on a daily basis as a boy at his fathers and he was instructing teams in close quarter battles by the time he was sixteen or seventeen (see was i did there…..) when he was eighteen, he worked in a gang(still working itup) but was arrested for shooting three drug dealers up in a bar.
he met mijung in highschool so they were very mych highschool sweet hearts. he was away all the time but they still made up got it

with grief specifically, he doesnt talk about her unless asked…? He doesnt cry much, his grief shows up as exhaustion, irritability and long silence
he actually loves cooking for his kids and usually makes them bento boxes for school days which id aldo a way to stay close to his wifes memory

-unfortunately he doesnt always have time to them brcause of work which usually takes out a lot of his time. he has trusted neighbors and babysitters that help with after-school care, homework, and errands and occasionally he steps in himself.

lives in a small apartment, eats cheap food (high on carbs), o-verstimulating himself on caffeine or tea and bad sleep
-ABOIT what i said abovec, his stomach has a bit of s soft fat from iregular eating, cheap meals, stress eating, he looke very thinner that he eats.
-He has hyperthyroidism which causes fast metabolism causing him to burn more calorites and he needs to eat more than average to keep his weight
socially odd but earnest. deadpan, a little clueless and unintentionally intimate…
he also cannot read social cues

Link-peaple assume hes arrogant because of his background… but hes not. he downplays his own work constantly and always apologizes about being competent. he’d rather burn out than dissapoint.
-around other trainees, jinseok is VERY VERY friendly…. ….hes always overly polite, slight bow, soft voice. when people talk about nepotism behind his back he works even harder 🥺 but when vick visited the facility he becomes stiff, introduced himself formally, and gets hyper-aware about being professional which confuses people
-he went to top schools, got scholarships, professors loved this guy :D
