like realism curly hair or just like cartoon/anime/regular drawing animation curly hair?
Well when drawing curly hair i would say (in my opinion,ask other people if they'd agree or not) that hair could be any length but try not to do pixie cuts or like real short hair because it would be harder and 70's style bangs,poofy,or wavy looks good
